Help Me Please. No Names

I cannot see the names, health or description of any quest NPC, villiagers, mobs or anything for that matter. this is very annoying as it makes playing the game very difficult, as it is nearly impossible to find quest Npc in the swarm of villiagers and it makes boss fights harder as i cant determine how much health they have. is this a glitch in the resource pack? or is it just me? please help
