So I have seen a lot of things about the provinces what are really good ideas and connections. But they are all on different threads. So as my main area of theorizing is the provinces, I wanted to put together a little list of everything we know, or think we know, about the provinces. Now I might not be able to get everything down at once, so bear with me, and eventually I will get it all down. Please add anything I missed in the comments, especially about Gavel, since I will not be able to study it in depth for a while.

    =General=

There are more than 3 provinces (how many is not exactly known) but only 3 main provinces

    =Wynn=

    Homeland of Humans.
    Contains Villagers.
    Plagued by Corruption.
    Enemies are corrupted or undead.
Has locked away powerful crystals hidden by "Ancients"
    Old English for "World"

    =Gavel=

    Homeland of Villagers.
There was an event called "The Dwarven War"
Villagers are at a cease-fire with the Orcs
    Plauged by "The Decay"
    Enemies are mythical
    Home Province of Wynn Excavation
    Old English for "Greed"

    =Fruma=

    Home land of the player
    Contains humans and villagers
Wynn (Specifically Ragni) has been recruiting soldiers from Fruma
    Much still Unknown
Old English for "Prime" or "Beginning"

    =Dern=

    "Far off Dark Land"
Should still be considered a Province
Creatures in this place have been a massive beast, and mobs represented by Endermen
    Much still Unknown
Old English for "Secret" or "Darkness" (not sure which)

In the new version of "king's Recruit" one of the NPCs mentions that the player is a recruit from Fruma.

Ah, Fruma is also old English or prime, or beginning. Which I have a speculation that you may use the door of time to time travel to the beginning- if you catch my drift, seeing as them door of time is the only known door now, er, only known door that doesn't go anywhere.

I think grian said the door of time does NOT lead to a new province. Fruma would be through spawn valley. Also, Wynn is old english for World

It was prieviously confirmed as it being old English for "W". Dern is old English for Secret.

Also I never said it would lead to a new province- I said travel to a new province. Time travel, more precisely.

Is the Door of Time that big door behind the player at spawn? Also, it's no longer called spawn valley. The placed you start is simply the by the border of Wynn and the region you enter into is Ragni Outskirts as indicated by the names of NPCs. Wynn=World just makes it a fitting name for the server "Wynncraft". However, (unless you think crossing the sea is the same thing as crossing dimensions) Wynn Province isn't Earth or anything. It was the "World" to humans just like how China means "Middle Country" because the Chinese assumed they were at the center of everything.

The door of time is the big door in time valley. I am aware that the starting area is now called "Ragni Outskirts", I started an assassin class the other day specifically to look at the area and talk to the NPCS. The fact they Wynn means World was just a piece of Trivia. I never said it was anything important

Before the wipe, I remember some lore about Dern saying that it's what Wynn could have been if the Corruption wasn't stopped, and that its underground. There might still be stuff on the wiki about it, not sure, though I'm guessing you also already checked it.

Trust me, I have been all over the wiki. Now commen belif (not saying if it is right or wrong) is that Dern is dark, not corrupted. Plus Grian has made point on this. But anyway, too much I unknown about Dern to say what's what. My very first theory was all about Dern. But thank you for telling me, anything before the wipe pre-dates my coming to the forums.

Also, this was supposed to be strictly facts about what we know, not another theory. I appreciate the thought, but can we stick to things that are 100% solid? (Or at least things we think ar 100% solid)

Some players don't think of their character as human. I would be an example as my skin is a robot, and thus not human

My skin is a Villager... but, the NPCS in Gavel always refer to the player as a human.

I simply meant put the possible distinction between a human and a player character. Though you have a point, from the game and Lore perspective, all players are supposed to be human.

Here's how I think it goes.
Gavel is obviously the home province of the villagers.
Fruma is the home province of humans.
Wynn is that in between place that long ago was populated by the humans, but before that the Ancients populated the place.
Dern is the place were the darkness and perhaps the corruption reside.

I'm not very good with gavel lore, but aren't the dwarves from gavel? I remember one of the Twitter pictures saying something about a dwarven war

Perhaps darkness, not corruption. There is a big difference, just like decay and corruption are different. Also, Wynn is said to have been the home place of humans (or one of them) and I assume Fruma is as well. We know Wynn has had humans for at least a century before the layers coming. But that does not explain the ancients in WE quest D
