Hello, is there a thread out there that explains all the new id's and what they are good for? Or could anyone explain them to me?
For example I head poison was good for dps (what I don't really understand)

    What does stealing do?
Why is poison good for dps?
How does soulpointregen affect my soulpoints actuall regenaration
How much of a speed boost does lets say 10 speed give?
With the elemental defences, if I have 10 thunder defense is that 10% less dmg from thunder or literally 10 less dmg?
How does lifesteal and mana steal work now?
    What does exploding do?
Is xp bonus still in % or literally +[number] xp extra per kill?
How does the id thorns work?

Thats about it, thanks in advance!

    Minecraft:
Stealing gives a % chance to drop an emerald from enemies when you hit them.
Poison does X damage over X amount of time. EX: 24/3s is 24 damage over 3 seconds or 8 damage per second for 3 seconds. This, in turn, gives you more damage per second while attacking.
Soul point regen, I'm not sure. I think it decreases the time it takes to gain a soul point back, if even just slightly.
+10% Speed will give a slight boost, you probably will not even notice it. Basically, if you were to run 100 blocks with that speed boost, you'd run 10 more blocks in the time it'd take you to run without the boost.
If the number does not have a percentile, then yes, the damage reduced is 1:1.
Life Steal and Mana Steal work similarly to Poison, giving X amount over X seconds when you hit an enemy.
Exploding gives a chance to blow up an enemy upon killing them.
XP bonus is still based on percentage. So, with a 10% bonus, something that usually gives you 100 XP will give you 110 XP.
Another one I am not completely sure of, I think thorns gives a percent chance to reflect an enemy attack.

Hope I helped a bit :saltedhappy:

Thanks for the answers it cleared up a bunch of things, 1 more question thought.
Does poison stack? If I hit an enemy twice will it do double the poison damage?
