Sent Back To Spawn On Death?

So I died during a Gavel quest (stupid lag fall damage :/) and I was sent back to the lv. 1 spawn rather than the nearest town/city. Is this supposed to happen or is it a bug?

If its supposed to happen then I think its a way too brutal of a punishment for when you die. If it isn't supposed to happen, I think it should be fixed soon because it is very annoying

 

What is the quest name? You were probably tped to a area outside the map near the spawn area for the parkour, and the starting area was probably the closet spawn point.

Oh yeah, the colorful parkour part. Just make sure to have a Llevigar scroll ready.

 

Yeah, did that now but now I think the quest is broken.

 

ya sometimes its bullshit. i was spawned in the tutorial once all the way from a quest in cinfras... long way back.
