    As the title states, i've pushed the button and disposed of the dead plant, though I don't see any rainbow trails nearby?

    At Tiek's house, you have to wait until some particles appear in front of the house (it will look like a block being broken). They start there, and more particles appear along a path that leads up the side of the mountains in the north, into a cave.
