Not As Orange - Wynncraft Resource Pack

Disclaimer: I did not make any of these textures. All of these textures were made by the Wynncraft Content Team. I simply made a few adjustments. Because of this, I am not posting this thread in "My Work".

The new, amazing Gavel update came with a new resource pack! However, as some of you have probably noticed, the resource pack's colors is much, much more warm and orange than normal Minecraft. Some of you like it, and some of you don't. I have a solution for you who don't. It's a new pack, called Not As Orange (N. A. O.). All of the textures are the same as in normal Wynn, so you won't be missing out on the epic item models, but all of the blocks are much less orange than normal. They are also more cheerful and vibrant.

As you can tell, the stone is less orange. The grass isn't dull and orange, rather lush green without much orange. The dirt is slightly brighter and less orange.

Issues
​

Because of the way Wynncraft is set up, right now there are a couple issues with using a custom pack. The class selection screen is completely unavailable. This means you will have to enable autojoin, and you must revert back to normal Wynn for a small amount of time when you want to change classes. Staff, please fix The second issue is the chat. This is a rather minor issue, but without downloading the normal Wynn pack, once every 30 seconds, a message will display in chat telling you that you have not downloaded the resource pack and things will not make sense until you do. If you are using N. A. O. this message is false, but currently there is no way to disable it without disabling the chat entirely. Staff, please fix this too

How to install
​

To install N. A. O., there are 5 easy steps.

1. Remember from earlier, how the class selection screen is completely unavailable? We need to turn on autojoin, which skips the class selection screen and sends you straight to the game. To do this, log into Wynncraft. You can turn on autojoin by typing /toggle autojoin. Log off of Wynncraft.

2. Click on Wynncraft in the server list, and click "Edit". Click the "Server Resource Packs" button until it says "Disabled".

4. Move it into your resource pack folder. You can open the resource pack folder by going to options -> resource packs -> open resource pack folder

5. Restart Minecraft. Turn on the resource pack, join Wynncraft, and enjoy!

How to change class​

Changing class is easy too, just not as convenient as normal.

1. Log out of Wynncraft.

2. Click Wynncraft in the server list, and click "Edit". Click the "Server Resource Packs" button until it says "Enabled".

3. Log into Wynncraft. Change your class as you normally would.

4. Log out of Wynncraft.

5. Click Wynncraft in the server list, and click "Edit". Click the "Server Resource Packs" button until it says "Disabled".

nice, i think this is the first variation so far. i'm thinking of making a pack that has everything vanilla style except the weapons and other stuff that is really important

It is called "Old effect" that means this orange gives it more old built theme so I don't want to change :) sorry

 

It's supposed to look rustic, dark, and homely.

 

How could you not like the orange tilt?

It's personal preference. Just like chocolate. Believe it or not, some people dislike chocolate. There's no right or wrong. You can't be wrong by not liking chocolate, just like you can't be wrong not liking the orange tint. I know a few people who dislike the orange tint.

Um, may I ask you how you found these files?

 

Easy enough. Just go to your .minecraft then go to server resource packs and open legacy with an unarchiver like 7zip.

for me it was legacy_wynncraft but thats the tp pack

 

I'm hoping that the staff was aware that anyone could view the pack files by just going in and opening the legacy file, and that there isn't anything too major to keep secret.

 

how else would we get the pack? when it says downloading where do u think its going? lol to some encrypted cloud or some shit? im pretty sure the staff are not THAT stupid...

Back to the topic at hand, I actually prefer a more lively and colorful Wynn instead of a dark medieval Wynn.
I might use this pack.
