Ik-il-van Still Jacked Up

Well, for the longest time this spear was un-identifiable but now they just said, "screw it" and didn't even cause it to be "upgraded" to the new weapon format. It is simply a stick that deals 1 damage now.

 

I think all weapons that have a special character in their title are currently bugged and have not been upgraded to the new format.

 

What other weapons have special characters?

 

Heard of Fierte?

 

Both my fierte and ik-el-van are busted. No hope to get a replacement weapon from owners?

 

Mont??Fial?? is also glitched. It's an iron chest plate that works until the player relogs, then it glitches and puts random characters where that stats go. After that the chest plate is useless after that.

 

Pelier didn't update, and neither did Damasse

Well, good news! Ik-el-van has been fixed! Its is now a warrior item requiring intel to use but has insane mana properties and water damage.

I have a Dislocator that is having the same problem. It can't even be used to cast spells. These must be some items that slipped through the item update, hopefully they will be fixed soon.

 

That's it... You already possess one of these pre-Gavel Ik-el-van spears. Then post-gavel, you identify it (cause it has the new "unidentified" descriptive language ), it looks normally identified, and has the Ik-el-van title on it when the item buyer finishes his "identifying". You put it in the bank. Moments later (in my case my mage had it, then put it in bank, then i switched classes so my warrior could have it), the moment my warrior picks it from the bank, the correct format glitches into weird purple coding. My item was never fixed. However, later on i picked up a new spear either from a drop or chest, and was pleased to find that when i IDd it, it was an Ik El Van. Thnx Santa!

 

My fierte works as a weapon somehow, I'm still using it to kill Dark Forest mobs...because loot chests won't give me a better spear around my level.
