Guide ???

Hey, so before I start, any mods that read this thread, READ THE ENTIRE THING. You do not need to delete it, I promise.

This is a thread that regards the Level 80 Quest, titled: ???

This is NOT a guide on how to do the quest. I personally do not know how to complete it, and I would be bragging if I did.

This IS a guide on how to handle the topic of this quest. For anyone that doesn't know...

1. ??? is like the relics. You do not speak of how to complete the quest if you know how.

2. ??? is supposed to be secret. You do not ask for hints or for instructions to complete the quest.

3. Do not make threads on how to complete ???.

Eh. Did I scare you, mods? Did you think I figured it out and was revealing your secrets? Well, no and no. So I guess we each get a point.

so basically you need to find a guy somewhere in gavel and do some thing "easy" for him but not tell anyone anything about him?

I see no reason to delete. The thread has no info about the quest, and was made to prevent threads about that quest. There is no information, or a request for help.

 

It does concern the quest though.

Threads like these are supposed to stop the threads you want to delete. Those threads are like a disease, and the last thing you wanna do is to kill the "cure".

 

I have a feeling you did not understand this thread. As much as I appreciate your hints, this thread was not meant to be a request for help, it was a GUIDE that tells you to not post any questions about this quest, as you can tell by the title- Guide "???".

What I understand from this thread is this: this is a mysterious quest, and just like the relics, any information will not be given on the forums, wiki, map or wrbsise.


This thread is like the " Are you stuck?" Thread that was meant to prevent from people posting threads about getting stuck. When people didn't know about the /kill command, they asked about it and made threads. This caused a mess on the forums. To prevent another mess, or at least, reduce it, a guide is needed to clear some things. A guide of "do" and "do not", and not a spoiler.

@Headset_O I hope you'll understand, and not delete this thread

 

I would add that you are allowed to brag that you've done it. For example by showing a Screenshot of the quest with the 'Finished' Green text.

 

Will we be able to know why it's so secretive and hidden without ending up doing the quest (assuming it isn't illegally posted)? Cause for some people (like me) who take years to level up this might be quest/lore info we never get to see.

Still so vague. I do have a few questions about the quest, but not about how to do it.
I'm curious, did you deliberately design the quest to NOT be beaten? Do you want people to find out how to beat it?
Would the quest be in the game if the start was told to us? (Like, do you think the quest is good enough to be in the game even if the coords were in the book, or is the fact that it's hidden the main gimmick of the quest?)
