What do you need to wake up the forest guardian?

 

No idea, but am I the only one that can't wake it up? Apparently you need a goat horn or something like that

 

u need to get a volt horn from the volt goat to wake him up

 

^^ I managed to find one accidentally. Than found another barely noticing.

 

Not knowing or being unsure is understandable. The quest book says nothing about it. There is a Yellow Sheep that spawns in the light forest called the Volt Goat, and killing it yields a Volt Goat Horn. You need to bring this horn, along with the Taproot, to the Guardian of the Forests in order to wake him.

 

Still not fixed? :D

The sheep spawns within a 100 block radius from x: -955, z: -4716. Good luck finding it. :)

 

I've already done the quest, but at the time I did it, no, the quest book didn't mention anything about it. Either the text you get after interacting with the tree or the entry in the book mentions that you need something to wake up the tree, but none mention the Volt Goat specifically. Not quite sure what specifically you were asking was fixed or not, sorry XD

 

I quoted Grian from a thread where is was asked. At this time nothing was said that you needed to wake him up and that they wanted to fix that (adding the extra line of text telling the player). ;D
