What's the light realm?

 

Light vs Dark obviously, is my guess since Gavel has the whole light and dark thing. I think the main storyline will be a battle between light and dark for Gavel.

 

The Light Realm is a new realm, like Nether, but with lightness. I don't want to spoil the whole quest for you!

I think the main storyline is about Bak'al. (or ba'al, I don't remember who is who)

 

ba'al is the guy in almuj that you have to assassinate I think.

Ba'al, I would assume, is different from Bak'al.

Bak'al is that weird guy that attacks you in Ragni in the trailer.

 

Light Realm (no known official name besides "Light Realm" I believe) vs. Dern (confirmed as "the Dark Realm")

 

You mean "The realm of light"? It has been confirmed for a very long time, and you learn about it as early as "Taproot"

Dern versus Gavel. Wynn is the battleground.

 

It's the war between the light realm and the realms of corruption. While the decay itself is unrelated to the corruption, it was layed upon Gavel by a cursed worm which manifested from the pre-existing corruption in villager's and human's minds and souls. In this sense, the decay was caused by the corruption in a way, however it seems as if the decay is possibly worse than the corruption we see in Wynn. For example, the decay has the power to further corrupt the minds of humans and villagers and cause them to have evil intent. This is something we did not see directly in the Wynn province. All in all, the world is being plagued by darkness and there isn't much light left in the world that can save it. Even the light realm itself is plagued by corruption, and their deity is infected with evil. It doesn't seem like the world of Wynncraft has much hope, eh? I'm excited to see what the content team does to advance this story further.

 

Well, the corruption drove a village crazy in the "Corrupted Village" quest, ay?
