[important] Minecraft Servers, December 24th (wynncraft Downtime)

Hey Guys!
Wynncraft probably wont be up most of tomorrow, nor will all of minecraft. A famous hacking group named Lizard Squad, an extremely talented, computer savvy group, will be taking down PS4, PSN, Xbox 1 and Minecraft. I know we are all excited to play more Gavel but I fear the worst because they are very dedicated extremists to what they do, hacking. People guys, do NOT blame Wynn at all or make too many up roaring threads about this. This is nothing Wynncraft staff members are capable of fixing. No one knows when minecraft will be back up but don't expect much progress on Wynn tomorrow. If anyone has any more information or something that they want me to include, leave a comment. Thank you for reading.

EDIT: Many users say that it's Phantom Squad who will be hacking Minecraft tomorrow.

crap I was having so much fun and i just got vip today god dammit hackers! :(
I know lets go around asking a whole bunch of people about if they know how to protect against hackers and see if they can do anything about I'm just trying to bring spirits up :(

Anyone know if Nintendo Wifi will be down too? I'm hyped the most for Xenoblade Chronicles X so it won't affect me too badly. But it really sucks how people can do all this. There's one reason I'm planning to teach myself hacking, and its to stop morons like these.

You should always look around for evidence before believing something. Lying is really easy to do, and happens a lot with people such as Phantom Squad.

 

Welp GG. If your on a console of course. I'll be busy playing Witcher 3 a second time.

They might do. Minecraft servers have been DDoSed like this before this year and it was dealt with pretty quickly, but that was by one person. Phantom Squad or whoever's doing it may be better at this.

So far it seems its not Phantom Squad whose actually doing it, they're just claiming credit for it. Apparently its SkidNP doing the bullshit.

 

Regardless if its true or false, any threat should be taken with careful consideration. Expect something to happen, and plan a back-up if it does happen. (Such as a boardgame with family or watch a couple movies, they can take the games down, but they can't stop movies on our consoles and computers right?)
If nothing happens, then woo. We all go on with our daily lives.
