    Name: Draken the Bold

    Gender: Male

Age (Note that any very young or old age may limit rp): (what about zero? jk) 28

General Appearance (picture or photo accepted): Idk I'm never good with appearances

Parent Jobs (Choose 2 – Whether any parent is alive or dead will be randomly assigned): Veteran fighter for dad, cook for mum

Jobs in your early life: Apprentice

    Current Job: None

Quick Backstory (e.g: How comes both your parents were nobles but you still became a nomad child?): Draken's mum died days after he was born. His father trained him in fighting from an early age and Draken loved stories about anything. When Draken realised just how evil his King was, he was angry and started to raid villages. Because of this, the King ordered his father to be executed. Draken eventually heard of this and fled to the Lost Woods. He now seeks revenge and wishes to overthrow the King.

Goals in life (note that these goals can change. Please don’t be too specific. Use some Logic E.g. “Be king” with Jobs saying something like Peasant/Peasant/Poacher is probably not going to be accepted – but may still happen during the rp): He wants the King to be overthrown and killed and make sure that the lands of Sariel are protected from anyone who would rule in a similar way to the King.

You hurry towards your door, your short sword in hand, swing it open only to be faced with an inferno that was slowly creeping up the sides up the staircase, licking at each step at a time before it engulfed it completely. The flames claimed foot after foot of the house, its fiery hand grabbing anything it wanted.
You turn back on your heels and run into one of your flatmates who seems mesmerized by the flames and only reluctantly moves to let you pass.
A loud crash and a drawn out rumble signifies the crumbling of the first support beam to the second floor. The ground shakes a little as the weight is redistributed to the remaining beams. There isn't much time left.
You bend down to pick up the remaining crude swords and tuck them back under your arm while the errand boys giggle stupidly a few feet away. "Little lord cant even hold his sword properly" one of the smaller boys calls and the rest snigger.
You shake your head and turn away, walking towards the armory, the errand boys follow for a few steps then dart into an alleyway to the right and leave you to yourself.
Another cross street later and they have not returned. You breathe out a small sigh, the armory was coming up ahead and the armory watch was already outside waiting for you, but he was currently busy talking to a woman that had stopped in front of him, and was offering him one of the apples she had with her. The banner behind him flaps into his face a little, the blue fabric covering his eyes. He sits down abruptly and the woman leaves, picking the apple from the seated wardens hand.
You hear light footsteps behind you just before the errand boys return, flinging you into the dirt once more..
A group of nobles, armed with hunting crossbows and a page who is heavily laden with bolts move towards your position. As if these fat lords could catch anything you think to yourself, nearly letting out a small laugh at your own joke.
The group of nobles stop for a moment, and demand a drink of wine from the page, who nearly drop all the bolts while hastily grabbing the leatherskin from his belt. A noble - the one who asked for the wine, let out a hearty laugh, "loud enough to scare any prey within 100 yards away" you think, smiling once again.
The nobles decide to sit down on a fallen trunk right there, making it impossible for you to sneak away, and talk about their everyday lives in raised voices, maybe because they were excited about the hunt, or even more likely they were simply drunk. The page looks very out of place and his eyes dart to and fro between the trees, finally fixing on a point just behind you. You think for a moment that he sees you but he looks down at his shoes and doesnt say anything to the nobles.
There is a rustling of leaves behind your back and the nobles suddenly go quiet. The page is looking in your direction again as you feel the tip of a blade against the back of your neck.
"What do we have here" a man's voice asks.
You peer around the corner and spot... nothing. No shop owner in sight, not even a guard. A rare occurrence and you cant believe your luck as you half walk-half jog towards the wheelbarrow.
You reach it safely, and peer around a last time before attacking the food within, stuff your pockets full of anything you can get your hands on, bread, meats, fruits. You eat every second handful, and with every bite came new delight at this near-magical find.
Your pockets are soon full with food items, and, with your mouth still full with a bite of apple, you turn around - right into the chest of a Kingsguard.
You head back for Liareau and walk slowly among the trees that glisten with dew and the recent rain. Everything smells fresh and you take in as much as possible, cringing at the thought of the stinking capital.
You think back to your previous events there, the chase after the strangers horse... that you must have shot it, and that your master is hurt, probably a broken bone. Of course you couldn't just leave him... but what about your own crimes. They were looking for you when you left, and now the shooting of someones horse. Could you talk yourself out of it - blame it on the stranger and claim your right to vengeance or something along those lines? Your not sure.
You soon reach the outskirts of the forest and see the walls of Liareau, that despite the rain yesterday night seem to have kept their dusty looks...
    Yes, this is my character.
Reports of a crime gang have reached the ears of the king, and the inability of the city guard to deal with anything that drives him mad even on the best of days have made him send out some of his kingsguard to deal with what he calls a "rebelious uprising". I highly doubt these street urchins have any political agenda for trying to feed themselves - either way i would have to find them and bring them before the court.
Court. Pff. Not like theres much else than death sentences handed out there.
Even so - this is my job and i will execute it - and if necessary the gang.
I take the "scenic" route from Trestel down to the city, along the main trade route to the North-East, which overlooks the eastern part of Liareau and allows me to view the dirt of the streets from above. I soon come to the Northern gate, slightly set back into the wall after the rebuilding the king had ordered on the northern and eastern wall sections to repair and strengthen them. It was early in the day yet there were already a few workers on the scaffolds, placing bricks or carrying materials back and forth. I pass under the gateway just as one of them drops a few bricks and a head masons is heard scolding the worker.
I turn a few corners, off the trade road and into the streets and alleys beyond, heading for the house of one of the towns more senior watchmen, when i stumble across another worker - it seems like he used to work at the wall, stuffing his pockets full of food from a wheelbarrow someone had left unattended. I walk up to him just as he turns around and walks straight into me.

I feel panic build up in me as I struggle for words. My eyes dart from the nobles to the page. Finally I ask, utterly quiet "Wha- what do you want?"

(Knowing myself, I'm gonna be the first death T.T rip)

Quick Backstory (e.g: How comes both your parents were nobles but you still became a nomad child?): His parents were both veteran fighters. However, they joined a previous rebellion, which failed. Draken was found by a soldier in the remains of the rebel camp. The soldier knew that he should kill the baby but instead he brought it to an orphanage. In the orphanage, Draken was neglected by everyone. At the age of ten, he fled and ran into the wilds and taught himself how to fight and hunt. One day a traveller found him and told him about the warlord in the south and the King. Draken, though even now he still hasn't found out about his parents, now wants to join this rebellion and train so he can fight against the King!

I look around for the closest exit, a window to the left of my bed, just small enough for me to fit through. I pulled myself out, grabbed the sill, and jumped out hoping for a light fall

You walk the remaining distance to Liareau, careful not to attract attention, and keep your head down while entering the gates. The guards are busy searching a young man and you manage to slip by unnoticed.
You start walking the familiar path home when you realize your master will probably be at a doctors or the hospital, and you turn back, taking the main road into the heart of the capital where these could be found.
Almost halfway there you pass a guard patrol. You slow down to a normal walking pace to make yourself seem in less of a hurry, and your heart starts beating frantically - what if they recognize you? Are they looking for you? The guards slow down as well as you come closer to them. One of them moves his hand to the hilt of his sword. Your heart is beating so loud you fear that this sound will attract the guards anyway. You resist the urge to grab at your bow you have tried to conceal. A single bead of sweat runs down your forehead and into your eyes, making you blink, and at that moment the guards turn and face you.
You jump slightly, still trying to conceal your anxiousness, when the guards walk right past you into the inn you had been standing in front.
Your heart slowly quietens as you realize what has happened, and without wasting another moment you carry on to the nearest pharmacy, when you see your master coming out of the front doors, limping slightly and his shoulder in heavy bandages.
Death so soon after your entry? Id call than an accomplishment! :P
"Heh. No little girl, i ask the questions here" the man with the sword replies, and then, a little louder, "Lord, i think we have found ourselves a poacher here, what would u have me do to him?"
The page looks slightly distraught, almost ashamed as he sees you.
One of the lords grins, "I think we should let Grinas here decide, seeing that he spotted the criminal", he makes a loose hand gesture towards the page, who looks down at his feet while his face turns red. "What do you think we should do, huh?"
The page mumbles something you cant quite hear. The lord smacks him around the cheek.
"Louder Grinas, the man has to hear your order!"
The page blushes even redder when he looks back at you and repeats in a louder, yet shaky voice, "Under.... under the kings", he gulps audibly, "under the kings orders all criminals are to be... executed, sir", he looks down at his feet once more.
"His lordship has spoken" cries the grinning lord gleefully, "please follow his orders" - he signals the man behind you with the same loose hand movement as before.
The man with the sword forces you to the ground on your knees, and his sword leaves your neck as he prepares the swing. The page squeaks.
Accepted. You have been placed in the forest south-west of Listra ( http://prntscr.com/9htn70 ).
    Geographical Lore:
You don't remember much about Listra - seeing that you left there so long ago at such a young age.
Listra and Lastra are the twin cities of the South-Eastern part of Sariel. Centuries ago these town were ere villages, constantly at war with each other until one day the chieftains decided to instead, work together to create two strong towns, and so they started calling themselves the "twin cities" rather than the "rival towns".
Nowadays these two towns have little to offer. Poverty is high and the towns suffer regularly from food shortages. Lastra was the first to fall under the strain of the kingdom, the inhabitants moving to Listra, which is now also crumbling beneath these extra mouths.
In comparison, the forest is a peaceful place. Nothing happens, wars do not affect it, and while people have yet to think of an official name for it, you have learnt to call it home. Large oak and birch trees grow close together in the heart of the forest, and slowly spread out in the 3 tendril-like extensions of the forest to the North, North-east and west. The southern most part of the forest is the least disturbed, while the northern tendrils are often hunted in and sometimes logged for timber.
    RP:
You have learn to live off the forest and regard it as more of a home than any house of bricks could ever be to you.
You spent most of your days just living - Hunting, fishing, gathering, sleeping under the stars. At least until you heard about the atrocities others have to face while you experience your near paradise. At first you were unsure, believing the stories of a single traveler and taking them for granted, but evidence was everywhere. The houses look more derelict every day from where you can see them, the amount of caravans visiting decreasing steadily and the people looked less and less healthy.
However noble your thoughts of ending this were, you have still no idea where to start. And what of your training? You have never matched up against anyone your size.
Either way, you were standing at the edge of your camp, looking onto the small path that lead past it. Left was the ever poor town of Listra, right, it led to a tiny bridge over the eriole and then... you have no idea what lays to the south.
You fall down lightly, but land hard on the ground despite trying your best to roll over your shoulder. You give yourself a quick check before you stand up, nothing broken, hopefully just a bruise.
You look behind yourself at the burning house you have narrowly escaped from. The neighbors are already outside, hauling water from the well halfway down the street in leaky buckets trying to quench the flames before they reach their houses.
There is a scream and a thud as one of your flatmates tries to recreate your escape technique and lands considerably harder. You run to him and help him up as you hear further shouts from inside your flat.
You snatch up a sword that looks the most menacing and spin around the face the errand boys who, just now laughing, now became very still. You look questioningly at them, swinging the sword lightly in your hand.
    "Who-"
You don't get any further as the boys turn and run away, one of them stumbling and nearly falling, but saved just in time by another. Not quite satisfied by this outcome you turn back to your load and start picking up the rest of the swords.
The armory watchman still hasn't moved from his seat despite the commotion. Lucky for you.
The crowd infront of the clinic blocks the door and you try and shoulder your way through just as someone next to you starts retching and keels over, clutching his stomach. His skin is dreadfully pale and you instinctively take a few steps back, removing yourself from the crowd in front of the clinic. The smell of sick people reached into your nose and you resist the urge to throw up yourself, and instead resort to covering your nose.
An assistant comes out and takes in the sick man. You try and catch the assistants attention but he was too busy. You look around slightly despaired.
The helper runs off to get your supplies as an assistant appears by your side, clutching an older man. You give the assistant a confused look, and as if to answer the older man arches his back and retches loudly, splattering a few drops of blood onto the floor.
You point to the bed a few paces away, and tell the assistant to move the bed's owner into a waiting room for now - he only had a broken arm.
You try and calm both patients down and do your best to make them comfortable as your helper returns with the requested medicines.

No one answers, she must be inside treating to a few patients.
You shout again and a younger man from the crowd glares at you and shouts back "who do you think we are waiting for?!"
You roll to the side as you hear the sword swoosh over your head and the swordsman swears. You make a further roll to the side to get out of his reach to get up and run away, your feet sliding in the dirt and your heart pounding loudly in your chest. The same calmness suddenly overcomes you as just before you shoot an arrow, time seems to slow slightly as you grab for a twig to help you stand up, and you feet find more solid ground to push yourself up from.
And as suddenly as the calmness came you are ripped out of if, a pain shooting up your leg as the swordsman kicks you back to the ground.
"Nice try" he sneers at you, and grabs your hair, this time holding you tight as he readies his sword.
You kick back, hitting his shin and he breathes out a small sigh of pain as he struggles to contain you. You twist and turn, trying to free yourself from his iron grip, as you feel his arm tighten from lifting the sword once more.
"Enough". One of the Lords spoke, he was an older man and had an aura of authority.
The swordsman lowered his sword again and asked in a more respectable tone whether these weren't the kings orders he was following.
"Do you happen to see the king here?" The old Lord spoke calmly. "Bring her here, we will take her into Simmerton.
The swordsman hauls you up by your hair and walks you over to the group of lords, who make their way along a small path back to town. The page is noticeably relieved, while the other lords murmur to each other, unsure of the older lord's decision to keep you alive.
You pass a familiar crossing in the woods, and a few leaves rustle in the undergrowth to the left of your party. The swordsman lets go of your hair and draws his sword.
Before you edited your reply it would have gotten you killed already :P
The watchman is slumped over in a uncomfortable position. "Sleeping on the job probably" you think to yourself as you try the armory door first to see if you could simply place the swords inside without waking him.
    The door is locked.
You turn back to the watchman and shake his shoulders. At first there is no response - then the watchman slumps forward completely off the bench he was on. You kneel down next to him, wondering wha has happened, when you see a red stain spreading slowly along his uniform from a point somewhere in his stomach area.
You roll him over onto his back to investigate further and your fears are confirmed. A small dagger sized wound - a stab mark - just below the chest area, probably placed to puncture the heart from underneath. You look around for the possible culprit but see no one suspicious...
You run for as long as possible with the heavy weights of your pockets slowing you down. Once you stop running, you walk as quickly as possible, right out of town until you are faced with some crossroads.
You are out of breath and sit down for a moment. Whether you really had to travel so much distance? Either way you were now hungry and thirsty, and you had no idea where to go.
The scream is coming from your flat, you see through the window that the flames have already reached the top of the stairs and are encroaching slowly on your flatmates, you have resorted to trying to break through the back wall in hopes of jumping out. It doesn't seem like it will work.
The flames have spread to the next house already as well, the line of people throwing water at it is having little impact, and one of the helpers has run away to try and get help from the town watch.
The worker boy sprints away from me. I debate whether to chase him down but instead note down his appearance and remember to report this to the town guard. I make my way on to the house of the senior guardsman and find him inside, just finishing a meal.
He tells me of this criminal gang, at least 10 people were involved, and there has yet to be any links between the criminals. A few weeks back a vigilante took it upon themselves to kill two of them, a young girl and boy, by knife, yet the vigilante has not been found yet either. It was slightly sad that a single vigilante had more luck in taking out members than the complete town watch.
He dresses himself in armour while i wait at his table, "So where do you think i am most likely to find them", i ask in hope of completing my job quickly.
"Well, we have yet to spot them there but a watchman told me of a warehouse in the southern part of town. Some of the stolen goods were seen there a few days ago but if we just run in their armed to the teeth they will just run off and use another empty house somewhere. Not like theres a lack in those"
I think for a moment, trying to come up with a plan how we could eradicate the criminals...
