[bug] Empty Loot Chests

I have discovered a bug with Loot Chests, which is they appear to be empty on some occasions. This has happened quite a few times, and I'm unsure why. I noticed that this would happen before Gavel, but this was only with Loot Chest I's that'd recently spawned, but this has happened even with Loot Chest II's and III's.

Here are 3 Chests I found in the WynnExcavation Site A Area, all empty:

 

This has happened to me too, I guess just wait, and it'll be fixed soon.

 

I've heard it's when you open a chest with your weapon. Not sure about this though.
From my findings this seems correct so far, and your images show that you opened them with your Knife.

 

I think they initially spawn with nothing and eventually fill over time. The longer they sit, the more stuff materializes

 

Seems rather odd that your weapon would stop items spawning in a loot chest though, but I guess bugs will be bugs. I'll try opening them with a non-weapon and will see if this proves true.

 

I don't think the bug is when you open it with your weapon...
