Media Gavel Or No Gavel? (poll)

So people have been talking about this and I decided to make a poll for it because.....


why not?

I think I can speak on behalf of everyone.. Once server lag goes down and we figure out the new item system.. This update will be amazing

 

I absolutely love the update but for whatever reason i am unable to play the game what so ever. earlier today i could play no problem but then the server stopped working for me for whatever reason. I've tried going on other servers and everything works just fine but in wynn i can't even join a server. i can join the lobby but after that it all goes down hill. it takes like 2 minutes to pull up the 'choose server' menu and then another 10 minutes to get into a game but before that happens i get disconnected. so there isn't much i can do :/. 8 hours ago i was totally fine. sure there was lag but i could play. but now nothing. don't know what to do :/

 

Why would we want it removed? I mean hell. It's fucking amazing; excuse my French. This is literally the content teams creation- it may have a few flaws and may take some getting used but god damn we've been waiting for this baby for approximately 2 years.

And as expected- it lived up to it's expectations. The new resource pack, the whole new item system, hell! A whole province.

If you think lag is bad now, wait until they add Dern and Fruma. Which of course, will live up to their own expectations.

So- obviously my vote leans strongly towards Gavel.

 

Either ways we can't make a difference to anything unless we want to report a bug or an issue or suggest something. We can't remove Gavel, we can't just put hard work to waste. We could only enjoy it and cope with whatever bugs there are.

 

I just don't like two things: So many legendarys! Ok I see where Wynncraft is coming from with increasing the frequency of legendarys.
but when I was on my level 8 Archer I got 4 legendarys to me that seems like too many legendarys.

Also the item system: Well this one we kinda brought upon ourselves we wanted Gavel NOW so they couldn't test every single item for balancing. In my opinion some items are Extremely underpowered and take a long time to kill mobs and some are just normal and others make bosses look like lvl 1 zombies.

Other then that this update is amazing! of corse this will take some time getting used to the knew game mechanics and where the cities are and how to not get murdered by orcs and where to find Visbee. Also I support the ID to use items. If you look at it in the long run it will cause de-inflation.

 

TBH I was pissed at first cause the update deleted some of my legendary items and made some of them really underpowered, however now that I'm starting to get new items and the lag is starting to go away, this update is quite amazing.

 

Speak for yourself, I love this lag and I love not knowing what half the things on my weapon mean.

To clarify, I had NO IDEA WHATSOEVER of removing Gavel, it's just that Gavel or No Gavel seemed like a funny idea for a title.

EDIT: I, personally, LOVE Gavel, and the update as a whole, but the few (or many, idk) people who didn't check the forums had a VERY bad time, including one of my friends.

 

I'd like to point out that as soon as Gavel was released, many bugs and glitches were found.
We were thinking of relaxing, instead we (mostly Tantibus and I) started to work overtime trying to fix all these new issues. Just look at how quickly we rolled out a patch with so many fixes!
I think this really shows that we do listen to feedback, and that we want to make the experience as best as possible.

Yeah I was surprised at how quick the first patch came out. Heck of a job by the team. Not flawless yet but, I'm not worried.
