Ok, so this is not really a theory, more of a what-do-you-guys-think?

So in llevegar the is a little library containing this:



It does not actually have any history written out, but it clearly says

Wynn
Gavel
Fruma
Dern

So thinking back to our little (not actually) logic breaking thread, what do you guys think of this? Is this where the player is from? I feel like this was mentioned somewhere else, but I can't remember where.


Anyway, PLEASE tell me what you think! This is only Gavel day 1 (or is it 2?) after all!

I did not think people would find this so quickly!
Just think logically anyway. What could all four of those have in common? Or not in common ;D

 

Provinces?

Remember on the logic-breaking thread (thats what im dubbing it) grian said a new province was gonna be named. It was just a matter of time. Im willing to bet the player is from Fruma

 

I feel like there is 3 humans-like species on this world: humans (players), villagers and endermans.
Each have is province, like this:
Humans > Fruma
Villagers > Gavel
Endermans > Dern

We know that Dern was destroyed long ago, most likely by corruption or something like this, thats why endermans are "The ancients".
My theory is that the whole world is being destroyed, like a slow apocalypse. We know that Wynn was saved by humans, and Dern wasn't.
And what about Wynn ? For me its like the center. Of what ? I don't know, but "it" want us to die.

 

We players came from Fruma, so it's our homeland.

 

I like your thinking, and I want to point some things out:

1) Endermen are used as dernians and as Ancient Wynnians. We can't make any assumptions about Dern/Endermen as of yet. I tried on multiple occasions and have learned we do not have enough info on Dern to make anny assumptions. So just keep that in mind when you say Endermans>Dern

2) Humans are indeed from Wynn, keep that in mind as well. But the player is not. The player is from another province. Villagers are also from that province. So bear that in mind. Players/Humans and Villagers exist in multiple provinces.

3) WE and "The Eye". Salted has confirmed that "The Eye" that is in the Wynncraft Logo is important, and WE talks about it. I have a feeling it has to do with what Wynn is at the center of. What you call "it"

But other than that, REALLY good thinking. I like the slow apocalypse Idea. Corruption, Decay, whats next?

If you leave the update room you'll be in the new starter area. A lumberjack there will tell you you're from Fruma.

Time to look for more references.

 

In the start area, there is a lumberjack who says you're from Fruma.

When I left the update room I was directly put in Ragni. I was not aware of that. Lets see what else we can find...

 

Remember how Grian said that there was a 3rd province that wasn't Dern, because Dern is a dimension. Looks like the 3rd Province is found.

 

Thats my point. But he did not say Dern was a dimension. He said some weird stuff about Dern being a "far off dark land" but should "still be conciderd s province" and "more than 3 provinces"

So yeah, we found the third MAIN province. We still have to figure out Dern

 

It's not a though, if you start a new class and spawn in the beginning, then the man says something like "Oh, another recruit from Fruma".

 

I have now found that out. I saw a screenshot of it. I feel like that's why everyone supposed to go to the start area again, so you can see that little bit of info...

 

Fruma Is earth.
Wynn Is the moon.
Gavel Is Jupiter.
Dern Is the sun.

Goal: Level 200

Well we will get 2 more provincec. And then? Ik that it will take a long time until we get Fruma and Dern, but what will be after that? The end of new content?

 

I think there will always be new content, as long as Grian and the rest of the team is interested. With the amazing response they got from the release of Gavel, they will probably start working on the next province right away (Good time to apply for a team). I noticed the lumberjack's statement at the beginning as well. The library find is amazing, good work Spyrohawk. We should all keep an eye out for more references. The content and build teams always have tricks up their sleeves.
