SPOILER New Provinces Theory: Map

Grian has hinted about the Dern province & the "Home" province (where the player comes from).

Grian has said that Corruption occurs between light and dark (Gavel & Dern) so it makes sense that Dern is on the opposite side of Wynn as Gavel. However there is a weird line in the mountains hinting at a shape; a new province! Here's a possible map of the not released provinces:

in fact, if Dern is supposed to be relatively small, then maybe all of the provinces together look would look like a square.

That looks like the general theme they're going with, anyway.

actually, it does look more rectangular rather than quare shaped.

but who knows, maybe the 'home province' is just really really big.

 

I think it should be a complete rectangle.

 

Home province will most likely be half the size of Gavel or Wynn. It would fit in the ocean slot and Gavel Western Border (Lower bit). Dern will probably be A Gavel/Wynn size province and it will go in a left C shape around Troms, Nesaak and HOME borders. This would result in rectangle.

 

This is a really good theory

 

Or maybe...our home province stretches that entire side, and Dern is MASSIVE and covers around that corner, and the other side.

Actually, there was one report that said that the villagers fled from Dern into Gavel, so perhaps that is not so. I only heard it from a secondary source, and cannot prove, but if they fled to there, why would they go between wynn? Why not just go straight do dern? Perhaps the province is connected to Gavel?

for the possible gates, i like the idea of the one in wynn being in the sand, area because it doesnt have lots of use, but there should be a quest, that lets you go into there, imagine a lvl 1 going to a lvl 150-200 area, this is too op, but im guessing the last boss will either be lvl 500 or lvl 1000, in dern, or a future province they might create.

This makes a lot of sense! Seeing that rectangle though... Can't unnotice the fact that the map has a horrible shape. That new tutorial area sticking out - ugh!
