    Hello there Wynncraftians!

    As you know the Gavel update is bringing with it many exciting changes. Along with them comes some changes to the temporary period of immunity that entities have after being damaged. I'm not really part of the coding team so I can't get all down and dirty with the specifics very well, but I can tell you this much at least. In normal Minecraft, as it stands, if you jump in lava you will only take four hearts of damage every half second.

    But in Gavel this is not the case.

    Although you may currently be a fan of taking a leisurely bath in the lava, we recommend that in Gavel you avoid that. And the same goes for fire. They both hurt. A lot.

    And this is why we haven't gone down to the core yet, because we arent sure if the changelog for earth will be like this. Thanks Sage for the advice so I don't get hurt as bad in Gavel!

    Well, if there are any necessary parkour-over-lava areas, my days of progressing in WynnCraft are over. Between this and the fall-damage return, I'm pretty much not going to be able to keep up.

    Yeah! And we take damage from falling? Don't they know that dragons fly. We don't fall. Plus, we have inbuilt fire element resistance over 9000.
