I've just completed my first Gavel quest. Here are my thoughts so far:

Positive:
- Lots of super custom gameplay
- Nice reward
- Definitely took longer than previous quests
- Very nice storyline

Negative:
- I'm not much of a puzzle person myself, so I found it very frustrating.
- The instructions on what to do were a bit limited, by I'm also used to having the wiki to aid me

 

I like the idea of hard puzzles, because you're gonna have to think a lot just to complete a quest, therefore not everyone will easily finish a quest, and it's an interesting concept.

 

A peanut just flew around my room and told me that Gavel is actually an update, IS THAT TRUE??!!!1!!!69!!!

 

The peanut is actually the prophet Jimmy Nutsack. He never tells a lie!

You'll have to see when Gavel comes out I suppose. :)

I've not yet traveled to that area of the map yet, but I can confirm that anything that has Wynncraft's name on it has a 99.9% chance of being awesome.

My views on: Fighting Mobs

Testing the mobs has been lots of fun. As you've seen in the videos & teasers, fighting has definitely changed, and it's for the better. This update feels more like a RPG and less like vanilla-fighting-zombies-at-night. I'm finding I have to be more resourceful, and that's not necessarily a bad thing

 

No dude i need to know what the thing is for. Yes gavel is tomorrow but I REALLY NEED TO KNOW I CANT GET IT OFF MY HEAD

if you were listening then salted said on multiple occasions, there IS NO QUEST/ LEVEL REQUIRED TO ENTER GAVEL. however, the RECOMMENDED level is 40 as thats the level the cities, mobs and stuff is designed for (40 and up, of course)

to take both your sides, i say that i agree with you but when he said "slash out" i think he meant that it was long, and unessecary.
tbh most of these posts (epecially pages 1-2) are useless
