Noob strategy: spam attacks and hope for crits

 

Tfw there is a text-based pokemon battle going on in the guild thread... and you read every bit of it..

 

And I'm still here unfinished trying breed a good Pancham and Donphan ;-;

 

My garchomp doesn't spam ;-; there are abilities called levitate and flying type mons ;-;

this is a good chart of good nature, trait, and moves for garchomp. ( with reasoning for the moves )
Nature: Hasty
Trait: Sand Veil
Item: Leftovers/Sitrus Berry/ Focus Band
- Dragon Rush/Draco Meteor (Covers Dragon weakness)
- Stone Edge (Comeplete Coverage against Ice Weakness)
- Crunch (Suggestion, May lower Foe's defense, Also good if Foe has Froslass)
- Sandstorm/Earthquake/Brick Break (Sandstorm: Increases Evasion, Earthquake: High Power and Accuracy, Brick Break: Coverage against Ice since Stone edge doesn't have as high accuracy.)

 

Nice nice, my Garchomp is a bit different. I don't do singles, only doubles. Mainly cause I suck at singles xD but my main lead is Garchomp and togekiss. My dragon weakness is taken care of, due to a move called follow me on togekiss. My nature is adamant and I put 252 Attack EV into it. I put 100 special defense and 158 Speed EV. Togekiss absorbs the opponents attack while I swords dance once. If I sense no threat, then I use tailwind to ensure I have priority, unless there is a gale wings or prankster on the field. Or any move that has priority on the opponents side of course. My Togekiss is the real star on this team and isn't that annoying paraflinch one xD. My Garchomp takes a giant chunk out of any pokemon with earthquake due to the boost to attack. Like I said above, I am basically using a 200 base power move that gains STAB and only doesn't hit flying types or levitate users. If I dun OHKO the Mon, its a flying type, levitate, focus sash, or Its left in the low yellow. For instance, My Lovely Umbreon can take a closecombat from mega lucario (and tank an earthquake from me chomp all in the same turn and may be left in low red), which has a higher damage output than chomps earthquake at +2. Umbreon is a sponge to almost anything (except those blasted hyper voice pixilated crits ;-;) My garchomp's only weakness is accuracy boosted blizzard and mis-prediction. iron head deals with Sylveon and the other fairy types. Dragon claw for dragon weakness(dragon claw doesn't have an adverse effect as outrage or dracometeor does) and swords dance to boost my already high-ass attack xD

A Delta Venusaur. You heard me right, a DELTA. The Delta species were introduced as Pokemon with different typings other than its current one like lightning. I'd take to to the next level with Delta Venusaur, Fairy and Psychic type. 255 Sp Atk, 255 def and the rest on speed/sp def. Max IVs. The nature would be Bold for the bit of good defense. It would lower my Attack but it doesn't matter because Delta Venusaur will be relying on Sp. Attacks!

Moves? Moonlight, Calm Mind,
Psychic, Moonblast.

Ill use Calm Mind to increase Sp Atk and Sp Def. From there I'll use Psychic/Moonblast and types wont matter because of the status change, if low on health, I'll use Moonlight. If I do get OHKO'd Ill equip a Focus Band beforehand so she has a chance to heal with Moonlight.

Hoohoo, it doesnt't even end there! Mega Evolving would give Delta Venusaur the ability Hubris (Insurgence exclusive) which would increase my Sp Atk by one stage after making a Pokemon faint with direct damage! I'm actually not making the Delta thing up, google Pokemon Insurgence

It's not noobish I guess, but I just get confused on the delta part o.o only way to get to me garchomp is to get past togekiss. And me garchomp is faster than venusaur, so you wouldn't be able to heal in time ;-; and you need a defense boosting move, call.mind only goes for special defense. I could also use iron head and crunch to do super effective damage upon le delta venusaur. Aaand one more thing, focus band doesn't always save from an OHKO. it has a chance to, however a focus SASH can always protect against a OHKO.
