What's The Point Of These "quest Translations"?

Oh so that's what's with the translations...

I was close...wait a week and I'll be correct XD

 

I doubt any players will go to the forums just to see if there are translations.

That's what I'm saying. Unless Salted Jumla and Grian add it to the game, the threads are pretty much useless because they probably won't go to the forums thinking that people have translated quests even though they have. But how would they know that "translation for quests" means that it's their language?

you can just implement these translations in the game

second off
translate "translation for quests"
pretty simple y'know

I think the real problem with translating Wynn into other languages is that it's not only quests that need to be translated - there's a ton of other messages in the game, too. If people dare to find every message in the game that needs to be English and translate into a shit load of other languages then I'll be extremely impressed.

 

You're missing the point... You would need the admins' permission to add those things ingame...

for the second thing, none of the translating quest threads use "Translation for Quests" but in english. How will they read that?

 

I've noticed something very strange here...

People not wanting translations for quests into other languages, which would lead to a more varied language-speaking community?

Why would they add them right now anyways? That's ridiculously preposterous. They're not even an millionth done with these translations.

 

they have not said anything about them at all, completely ignoring them. I think at least Grian would have replied to one.

 

They're aware of them at least, Salted liked the french one.

 

Well they have to choice to speak it. They probably learnt english and have some difficulty trying to speak it. So due to the nice community of wynncraft people are trying to solve the problem and make translation threads to help some people understand the language. Lets hope soon wynncraft will add this feature

 

Program has nothing to do with in-game unfortunately, it doesn't resolve the issue.

 

Well, it could still be implemented.

 

I'm sure through will and determination they could add the translations in game. I mean, they made Gavel and 50 new quests, and HyPickle has made a translation service on games such as Pixel Painters. With the community doing the translation part, they'd just need to code in the language selection feature and add the translated quests.

Because once you add colour, you can't go back. I mean, the Gray/White colour isn't an option on the colour selection menu, and the text defaults to the last colour so...

*switches to night theme* Holy hell, I see what I've been missing out on now...

 

You can choose "None" for the color tho
