Newspaper over Newspaper, Everybody is disappearing in our neighborhood and some kids in my grade are disappearing. Kids ages 14 or above were missing in Detlas. Strange reports say that it must be the Soulless coming back to take our land and get rid of us all. News in Elkurn said that a rare disease had been hit there. Only 3 Remaining and 1 found. People are still trying to find who or what caused this to happen. But in the matter of time, we are all going to die if we don't make a move.


"Orken, We have to leave this instant." I turned around to see my Dad. He had a backpack, a two water bottles and some healing potions strapped to his leather bag. He tossed one to me and a weird looking stick. He whipped out a purple, silk stringed, spiked bow out of his pack. The Vile. We rushed down stairs as an eerie sound vibrated outside. "They're here. We must leave." Dad said, "They?" I replied making my way to the front door. "The Soulless, they have come here to take away what we have." The Soulless. How did they get here this quickly? I opened the front door and saw embers from the tower, spilling sand as flames grew around the building. Villagers running from shadows. Red eyes with oblivion, seeking out to destroy us all. Me and Dad make haste to the Nessak trail but six shadows started following us before we got to leave. Dad shot the first arrow and distinguished a shadow into black vapor. I took out the weird looking stick, I got confused at first then pointed directly at one. It took three seconds for it to shot out a beam of light. The moan was terrifying but eventually died off. Then Dad took a TNT and straps it to the arrow tip. "What are you doing?!?" I screamed since the heat ignited near a pillar not to close to me. It fell on the shadows but it did not stop them. They rose up from the pillar but then right before they risen from the burning structure, Dad shot the arrow bomb at them and that finished them all. As we soon escape from Detlas, We eventually found a cottage not to far from here to spend the night in. When we opened up, a damp smell came into my nose. Spiderwebs hung across the ceiling and bed. A bread lay next to the cabinet where the bed is at. I didn't want to sleep on the floor so I flopped onto the bed along with my Dad. Then came the dreams...
