Guild Territory Program

if i were to create a program that whenever someone wins an attack, a notification will pop up on your screen (just like skypes notification). would i be allowed to sell it for $ here?

 

Even if you would be allowed to, it would be kind of a... "humanity-unfriendly" move

 

you know what they say, time is money. it would help lots of people out while attacking so, it could make other guilds better then mine. i wouldn't wanna give other guilds an advantage over mine for free :P

 

Just check the territory map like every 5 minutes.

 

that works but what if your too lazy, or dont want to check it (takes too much time). this would save you a lot of time because it will pop up on your screen instead of you going to check it every so often (and you can miss a few messages when you check it every 5min)

If you would rather just "not be lazy" then you don't have to buy the program, but you don't need to ruin it for people who would find it helpful.

 

How exactly am I ruining it for others? I'm just giving my thoughts on alternatives to the program. If you want to buy it, go ahead, but I'm not impeding you from doing so.

 

There has been a case in which someone tried to sell their art for money here on the forums, the thread got shut down and she recieved a warning if I remember correctly. So I'd highly doubt that you would be allowed to do what you are planning.

Another alternative is to give them a quiz, have them answer it to you in a PM, then message them back with the program if they score high enough. Or they could fill in an application as to why they should get it.

 

so like a contest, and yes i was planning on doing one if i do ever decide to sell it.
