Hypickle Or Mineplex?

This is pretty long so, what I said is: all Minecraft servers are equally horrible.

Rant-ish thing:
This is my opinion but, most mini games are terrible (especially on Hypixel). On Hypixel, you have to play pretty much everyday to get to tier X or whatever, and almost all the team games make you feel like a pawn (unless you play everyday). It doesn't matter if you die, because there are so many other people, and it will only have a minimal effect on the game, so I really only end up playing skywars, and occasionally a few other games. In Mineplex, the games do allow you to feel like an actual important part of the team. In champions TDM, if one team is down a player, (assuming everyone stays together) the team with the dead player is likely to lose. Also, money in Mineplex is much better in my opinion. I can just earn all my money in champions and use it somewhere else, and I do find myself playing much larger variety of games on Minplex, however, it is much easier to find a hacker/spammer than any other server. In Wynncraft, I find it stupidly boring (atleast from when I last played). Most the time in Wynn is spent grinding which is the most boring thing ever, and there aren't that many fighting/puzzle quests (atleast from when I last played). Most of the quests I remember were gathering quests, where you have to get certain items for someone. There isn't even a main quest line(5-10 quests atleast). I haven't played in a long while, so I hope it isn't as much of a "how much spare time do you have?" game anymore. However, in all three servers, none of them have a bad community, I found really nice people in all of them. Of course this is just my opinion.

9/10 The only thing I don't agree with is that Wynncraft is too grindy; For an explanation of this, I have it in some other post somewhere and don't feel like finding it, but essentially that RPGs are like chemistry and kind of needs a mix of quest and grind, and Wynncraft has a pretty good blend.

Wynncraft needs less grinding, I agree. I also agree with the mineplex statement, I recently replayed with my legend rank, claimed my monthly bonus. Then since I hadn't been on in about 1.5 months I lazily opened a chest and got Titan rank. Now I can blow people up and annoy them.

You see guys, it's not the mini games that matter, it's how much you can annoy others by blowing them up with morphs.

I think your poll is very biased, especially when the point of this thread is to ask others for THEIR opinion.

 

Wynncraft has too much grinding right now. When I look back on my journeys to level 75, it was more of the people I had fun playing with. Once you get to 75, then you just go on the next class. I'm just saying that Wynncraft could have so much more improvement.

Mineplex
1) laggy
2) full of hackers
3) bad support/staff
5)good mini games
6) ranks are exnsive AF
7) it could use some work with the staff/hackers

Now hypixel
1) good mini games
2)ranks are expsive
3)good support/staff
5)upgrades expsive AF
6)games do get boring..
7)TOO MUCH DISADVANTAGES WITHOUT RANKS!!!

Both servers has good mini games, but are shitty in its own way, IM NOT SAYING THAT THE SERVERS SUCK <3 hypixel

When I'm not playing on Wynncraft, I play on Hypixel. Most of my Wynncraft guild members are from Hypixel, and we are all in a guild there.

Personally, Hypixel is better in so many ways. Despite the disadvantages people have without ranks on Hypixel, that is how the server gets their money. Hypixel has excellent game modes, and fun things to do, when Mineplex typically makes knockoff version of Hypixel's game modes. My opinion is my opinion, but the thing about the Hypixel community is that there is so many trolls, and hackers, not as many as Mineplex has though; big servers tend to be like that I guess. Wynncraft is a nice, small, community, consisting of friendly members. I hope to become more involved in it in the future.

TL:DR: I think Hypixel is better ( even though I have been playing on Hypixel daily for 2 years) Both servers are unique in their own ways, yet Mineplex calls themselves the largest, and best, server in the world when they use bots, and copy things from Hypixel. I do like Wynncraft because it's chill community.

 

Anyways I'm nether big fam of the two servers I like kohi PVP server da best :p (Wynn is better)

So bear in mind that i dont really play much on hypixel so i might be malinformed about some things...

Hypixel
- There are more non-vanilla based games, such as minestrike or mario kart, allowing for fans of the original games to enjoy these as well, or, if they always wanted to get the original but couldnt, find a cheap alternative.
- Ranks are a lot more relevant. Higher level = so many more advantages.
- Games rely heavily on custom textures
- Games tend to have a high player limit

Mineplex
- Wider range of small minigames (and the option to cycle through any of them automatically)
- Ranks helpful (such as gem collection rank or achievement kits) but not game changing
- Gems are able to transfer from one game to the next, allowing you to play a game casually, to save up for a good kit on say, champions.
- Lower player limit on games

Mineplex is also generally seen to have more hackers. However, as someone who has played mineplex for a long time i don't see more hackers than in any other server of that size. The reason people have this disposition is probably due to it just being said constantly, and people, without really checking, simply believe it. Also, when they do see a hacker they will immediately pick it out. (Have you ever had this thing where u never notice something until someone points it out, and then its suddenly everywhere?). Also, since people tend to think that way and therefor think that going on mineplex to hack is fine, resulting in several youtube channels promoting this idea. Also, the lower player limit on games where you have a higher chance of fighting every single member of the enemies lets you notice things as hackers much quicker.

I prefer Hypickle over Mineplex because the helpers actually help on there and Hypickle isn't as pathetic as Mineplex is, having to copy others. The only reason I Go on Mineplex is for super smash mobs, where I typically get called a hacker. I even prefer the chunk over mineplex, Even though I only Play ironfall on there.
