Show The Wynncraft Team Some Love!

I feel like it's too many threads on the forums complaining about how long gavel is taking so i decided to do something else. Just think of all the time they are putting in to gavel and how awesome it will be when it is released. We should encourage the Wynncraft Team for all the amazing things that they do to show our appreciation. They are only human after all and they really deserve some love from the community. That's all I have to say and I hope that everyone are as excited for gavel as I am!

 

I am as usual excited for the reactions, and the feeling of that I contributed.

 

Not criticizing or anything, but @Mular5 already made this kinda thread.

I'm just going to say this here, this thread doesn't help anything.

Gavel has taken about 2 years, and all the hype is dead. The Gavel Hype Train disappeared. I feel like (no hate the builders or gms) they're adding too much to Gavel. It doesn't seem like Wynn took that long... So people want Gavel. I don't know why they can't just save these finishing touches for a later update, I mean, they are about to start beta testing, and then they come up with this "great new idea that should be added to Gavel". Why not try to WAIT on that idea for a later update? All of the GMs and Builders know that people are getting angry with them for not releasing Gavel. ("RELEASE GAVEL" threads are sprouting everywhere.

So no offense to GMs and Builders, but remember every time you get that great new idea, a new person makes a thread about Gavel :I


TL;DR They should try to wait on these great new ideas for a later update and release Gavel as it is.

P.s. Builders/GMs have no impact on what gets has to get done. We just do what we are asked.
I do agree that Gavel is too big. The update, that Is. It would probably be better if they made Gavel multiple smaller updates.

After no-lifing on this update for months and months it feels good to see threads like this. Of course, we're still not done yet, but we're close!

Actually, the original building of Wynn took a long time, I'm not 100% sure but I think it was just Salted, Grian and Jumla (and even then not all of them were building). Plus that the original quests were really simple, and no lore was officially established.
After increasingly complex quest updates (off map tp regions, complex character development and the ToA), the community expects more from updates,both GM and builder wise, and after something like the Wynn-excavation saga, it wouldn't be fair to give everyone a bleak Gavel with lack luster content and mobs.

Also, you should remember that on top of building a whole new province other systems are being re-worked (weapons and some other stuff)

Thumbs up to the staff team from me. If it is released with all the content they promised and they can do so within a few months I'm good.

 

The Build team is amazing from what you can see in trailers its gonna be amazing and worth the wait
