Mysterious Loot Chest

So i found this.. whats that?

 

It contains a stack of le, you'll never be able to get it though.

Jk...idk what it contains.

 

This is probaly a chest which hasn't been fixed / remove yet, at least I think there shouldn't be floating chests :3

 

If you could get me the exact coordinates of the chest I could try to fix it.

 

It's between rooster island and Selchar

 

It's the Great Ocean Loot Chest. Every inventory slot is filled with a stack of Liquid Emeralds. The challenge is to find the secret switch that raises a staircase from the ocean floor up to the chest.

Actually, it's an old chest that was left behind when the area was updated. There was a thread, that was lost, in which all of these bugged chests were listed. They have since been fixed on the build server by Jamdoggy and will exist no more when Gavel comes out.

 

And the one in the Desert by the chestplate relic?

 

@Tantibus, you responded while I was still answering - there can't be any harm in checking this one. His second screenie has coords.

 

That's going to make it a lot more difficult. I would appreciate exact coordinates, at least the x and z. Makes finding and fixing it get done in like a minute.

 

Can't help you there, but where would you put the loot chest? Bottom of the ocean?

 

Chestplate relic? What chestplate relic? There's a relic in the desert? Dude, locations of relics are NOT to be discussed. That specific chest is fine, it can be reached with care and patience, but not by assassins. I've gotten it several times.

All i gave away was the biome, if you look at the wiki, the wiki gives that much away.

 

If I can't find a logical place for it, I can always just remove the chest.

True but loot chests are done via coordinates on a file, rather than placed blocks. Means that without the exact coordinates it just becomes a guessing game. I'll do my best to find it but it'll probably be a slow process.

BB, I was pointing that out, in general, however, if you were to edit your post, it could look like you had put in the coordinates, originally, which you most definitely did not do! I apologize for the way that I worded the first part of my post; it could be interpreted wrong.

 

Get on GM and fly to the area you lazy skrub!

 

When you're higher level you will get MUCHHH Better gear

 

Also a difficult option because I think loot chests randomly appear. Either that or the chest was already fixed and the fix hasn't been pushed to main. If the latter is true then that floating chest should be fixed when Gavel releases (so "very soon")
