Music Reincarnation Dubstep Remix (finished)

...aka giving it a MAJOR reworking. I've been so obsessed with this over the last two months, even if I've only been able to work on it an hour or two a week with school and all. I'm hoping that after I've finished it and all, I'll upload it to somewhere official-ish like Dubstep Gutter (if you've never checked them out and you like good dubstep by not well known artists, you should check them it: https://www.youtube.com/user/DubStepGutter), it's gonna be that big ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I'll be posting updates as I go along with this (P.S. make sure to go check the most recent page for the newest update), right now (as in beginning of August) I just have to fix the intro and FINISHED A FULL LENGTH DROP (even if it may not sound the most fluid or well-mixed yet). Just one more verse and then some copy-and-pasting second drop left to go...

As for criticism, though, the final link is really buggy- by buggy I mean audio skipping, etc.

Also, I would recommend you keep a bit more of the original music- so we can recognize it, and say "Hey! That's the reincarnation music!" In my opinion, the first one is actually pretty good, in this aspect.

Yeah, after the first drop I was thinking of adding an epic orchestral section with the first melody of reincarnation in it, if that's what you mean

-Updated/fixed intro (Reverb, beginning bass drop, added heartbeat)

-Mixed drop a little better (though some of it needs to be re-fixed)

all I can say is...

• the piano sounds really repetitive so maybe replace it with a different sample as well as tamper with the the loop to have is play at like half the speed
• (OR) if you can find a sample that really fits than you should need to change the loop.
• you could try use Legato OR stacato lead for the chord that whats in more edm now-a-days.
• also something I like to do when I play with drums is add lots of reverb.

-Added a timpani in the beginning
-Added some small piano tidbits in the verse
-Changed the sound of the white noise thing
-Added a little bit of orchestral stuff after the drop (LOL sounds really bad tho)
-Added a techno bass thingy after the orchestra
-Started an epic rock 'n' roll second build (note "started") (totally not copied from "Survivors ft. Must Die" by Zomboy XD)

 

Bumparoni bump update on Monday probably :P

Damn that's really good.
Though I don't know if it's just me, but after hearing a few sounds of the drop, it gets a bit silent.
