Just want to say that I rate his work: Over 9000/10

 

Might want to read through the thread a bit..

 

I use Blender 2.76. But I use an advanced lighting system called "cycles". When you render with cycles, the render takes much longer, but it's worth it. Cycles makes the lights more realistic.
There are 2 options in Blender: internal (normal) and cycles (advanced).


About the render time:
When I make the renders, I do it in steps:
1. Adding the skin and making some parts " stick out"- usually about 10 minutes, it really depends on the skin: the skins it took the longest to do were you and ThePilot.

2. Changing the "camera" settings- I put the picture resolution at 720x720. This size is compatible with avatars, and also looks good when it comes to quality. I also switch from CPU to GPU Compute. By default, the CPU is making the render, but with this option enabled, your graphic card is making the render. For me, it makes the rendering preccess about 2x faster. But that really dephends on what you have. it's possible that your CPU is better. I have Gerforce GTX 750 as my graphic card. It does a really good job. This part takes about 1-1.5 minutes.

3. posing: This is one of the more harder parts. When you pose, you wanna be happy with how it looks, and if it looks good from the camera angle. Fore me, it takes about 20-30 minutes.

4. Lighting- This is a really important part. You need to put the light in a way that makes it look good, and the right strength. It usually takes me 10 minutes.

5. Rendering- If you've ever seen someone makes a render before, you know that after you're done, you render the image. The rendering proccess is when the CPU or the graphic card is making all of the shading, and puts the right metirilas (like reflecting metirials, and more). The rendering proccess takes me about 20 minutes. Those are boring AFK minutes that I can't use my PC becuase the proccess is making it to slow.

After the render is done, I just save it, and there it is! The render! So the time it takes me to make this is almost an hour.

3. I'd like it to be a swamp, And I want a pink sheep to stand behind me.
4. No armor.
5. Nothing.
6. A stick, Don't even ask.

Shop update!

You now can request without you to attach a skin file! All you need to do is to give me the IGN of the player you want to be in the render!

If you want askin that's not belongs to any player you know, I will still need the file

 

Skin:
Position: Running
Background, Color- Sky is grey.
Background, Terrain- Wynn (Not the wynncraft world, the seed is literally "Wynn"), on the village street.
Armour: Leather helmet, enchanted and colored with 361F12.
Right hand: Enchanted iron sword
Left hand: N/A

 

1. your skin image. needs to be a 1.8 skin, and a png file! Or your IGN
If possible can you make it a larger image with 3 people in it + a number of Mobs like pigmen and endermen that are attacking from different sides

2. your pose- How do you want the player to be posed?
Can you please try to pose each one as they are in the picture :)

3. Background: Color/Terrain
Terrain can be the nether, with mountainous terrain etc around, and a large number of mobs surrounding the 3 players.

4. Armour: Tell what armour do you want in each slot, enchanted/not enchanted, and if you want leather armour, tell me the color.
No Armor, just the players skins, Can you also try and maybe add capes to each one of Grey or silver color with gold outlines, that is if its not hard to do, if it is dont worry about it.

5. What right hand is holding?
Right Player skin - Holding a 2 handed long spear and stabbing an Pigman
Middle player skin - a custom war hammer or a war scythe i wont mind. (which ever one is easier)
Left player Skin - Holds a shield and a Diamond enchanted sword

6. What left hand is holding? -
Only for the middle skin - hmm can you make it so my left hand is outstreched like in the picture, and from it i produce stream particle effects of fire and lava effects.

I have a render request (I'm sorry, but it will require some fencing background knowledge)

So I will leave my skin as an attachment. Could I have a render where I am In a fencing on guard position? My dominate side is my right side, so I iwll have to be facing to the left.

Either a Foil or Saber stance will do, whichever is easiest. Could I have my front hand extended forward, with a diamond sword in it? I need the sword point to be facing forwards, not up like a normal sword. So basically I am pointing with my sword.

If you put me in a foil position with my back hand up, could you put an ender pearl in it? If I am in a saber position with my back hand behind my back, please leave it empty. Could I also have full diamond armor except for no helmet?

Please put me somewhere cool, not like in a house.

Oh, never realized

 

Can you add things NOT in minecraft? I don't mean a real-life looking thing, I just want a minecraft (Cubed) style bird in my render request.

Note: This is not the request XD

 

With the right textures, I can make it! But do you request or not? IM CONFUSED
