Is Wynncraft Experiencing Reverse Inflation?

So since maybe a year ago until last month, I've been taking a break from Wynncraft. And I realized, things were a LOT more cheaper in the Trade Market. So what do you guys think about this?

It is to be expected when end game items won't be end game anymore once(if lol) gavel comes out.

 

Reverse inflation = Deflation
The more of one item that comes onto the market, the cheaper the item becomes and the rarer that item becomes, the more expensive it'll cost later.

 

Nether armor had been confirmed to return, so no one's really selling that anymore, and most high level items won't be high level when the Gavel Expansion comes out.

I haven't played Wynncraft for years... But I find i kind of strange that it would be experiencing deflation, as the main problem before I left was idiot traders causing inflation.

 

I bet they'll change it to a better name, like "Blue Crystal Set" as it won't be endgame anymore

A believe the deflation in Wynn is due to the Villagers pact saying that they'll open their doors "Soon" (they recently chucked a newspaper over the wall saying that they've almost figured out how to open the doors and they should have it open within a few weeks). Due to the level cap being increased 25 levels to 100, it means that "End Game" is no longer "End Game", simply "Three Quarters Into The Game". This means that all the armour will lose price (as it has been) due to it not being as good anymore, and this has sent a shockwave of deflation through the item market due to their comparative underpowerment.

The actual reason is that every day that passes is one day further from when "The Great Dupe" occurred. At that time, almost everyone had several stacks of le so it was worth much less. As people left the game with the stacks of le in their accounts less le showed up in circulation. As le became more scarce, it became more valuable thus you need less to buy items.

 

Wait stacks of le? The most i've ever gotten was like 35, and that was after getting rid of all my endgame gear for gavel.
