Lore/Story Uprising- A Minecraft Story

Well, I decided to make a story.
I was making one in my head for a while and thought of a villain and thought, "Herobrine." Then thought, "It's a Minecraft story, then."
So yeah.
A chapter will be added each week.

Prolouge
The guards stood upright as a figure materialized from the air. He- or it- was wearing a black cloak with a hood that obscured everything from sight. The tall shadowy sentries, from a species named The Enderman, held their spears up. One spoke in a garbled voice, "nÍyN r#È`N whMiV; VË yN1jyE- x`N waD`N ozFÊp nÍyN ztÈ P j`VrÈ-."
The cloaked figure said nothing but walked towards the black gate the sentries were guarding. Suddenly, one Enderman dashed forwards and sunk it's spear straight into the cloaked figure's torso. Or at least, it seemed that way.
Somehow the figure had caught it by the blade. He pulled the shaft upwards using the blade, knocking it's owner below the jaw. The moment the sentry let go of it's pikestaff, the man spun around and stabbed the other sentry, who had teleported behind him. Then he spun back and killed the first.
The gates opened silently. An Enderman was sitting on a throne, clad in black armor, not that you could tell the difference. A steel-gray crown rested upon it's head. Seeing the arrival, it stood up. Seconds later it was killed.

I think I'm going to follow this. Looks like it has good potential. (Though you kinda ruined the mystery of the cloaked figure by telling us who the villain was).

Chapter 1
Raid

Steve walked out of his room, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. What was that noise? He thought blearily. Is it a bell? We're not under attack, are we? He looked out the window. The sky was as clear as any morning. No chance of monsters. But the bell, he realized as his senses cleared, was definitely ringing an alarm tone- A harsh, loud sound. So he went back into his room and pulled out the old chest with all of the weapons in case something like this happened.
Steve was an orphan. His parents had died when he was 4 and 8. He was now 14, and managed to keep his house, with the help of some of the town guard. The town of Guerne was a small village, with a wooden parapet and gate. He drew a shortsword (with some difficulty) from the depths of the box and staggered out into the square. The assembled village stood there, about a hundred and fifty people with swords, spears, bows, axes, and the like. By town law, every citizen had to have a weapon in case of attack.
There was a hubbub as two guardsmen wearing light armor ran through the gate. Scouts. One had an arrow in his side but paid it no mind. The other scout ran into the square and shouted out, "Undead! Walking around in the sunlight! Undead! They'll be here in under an hour." Then he collapsed, from exhaustion or wounds. The talking became even louder. Undead never walked around in the sunlight- They always burned up, even when wearing helms. But these ones didn't.
The next few minutes were tense. The ones with shields fumbled with their straps nervously. Two or three men's courage broke and they ran out of the gates, out into the surrounding woods. After about twenty minutes, the gates were shut as more scouts returned, reporting the forward march of the assorted zombies and skeletons. But the gate really didn't last very long.
Something started hissing on the other side of the gate. A gravelly voice said, "Open these gates and surrender, and we may spare you. Continue to cower, and suffer the consequences! Make your choice! And be sure it is the right one." Captain Grylys, leader of the guard, shouted back, "Come and face us!"
The gravelly voice replied, "And so your fate is sealed."
The hissing became louder as something clacked onto the gravel on the other side. Then it changed to a crackle. Then a pop.
And a lick of flame snaked out from under the gate.
About ten would-be defenders tore out of the square and ran.
Then the dead came.
The gate burned fast and bright, and the corpses of long-dead humans were silhouetted against the flames. Both sides charged at each other. Steve paid no attention to his surroundings- He was too busy trying to survive and maybe dispatch his attacker, a rotting body hefting a mace.
He knew nothing about swordsmanship, but tried a feint to the left. Amazingly, the zombie bought it, turning his club that way. quickly, Steve jabbed his sword to the right, stabbing the undead and probably killing it. As it fell, he turned around and was instantly bashed across the face by a black shield.
He fell to the cobbled stones and lost consciousness.

 

Sorry if this seems rude, but quick correction; zombies and skeletons actually don't burn if they're wearing helmets. I was experimenting with it the other day.

 

Yeah, I know, but it kind of seems unrealistic if their arms and other body parts don't catch fire as long as their heads are protected.

Hey, my story hasn't been written on for a couple of months. Don't feel bad.

 

Chapter 2
Through the Woods

Steve stumbled on a rock again. He leaned on his branch for a second, then continued walking. He'd never really been out here, but there had to be another village soon. Maybe even a city. He wished he had a map, but he had left it back in the town. He was also running out of food. Suddenly, the sharp scent of smoke reached his nostrils. Steve stood rigid, then ran down the path.
He came to see an exact replica of his village- That is, burned to the ground. And just like his village, almost everyone was either killed or taken prisoner. Except two. Both were about his age, fourteen or so. One was limping and had to be supported by the other. The first was a human, wearing a simple shirt and pants. The other was a Villager, a humanoid race who had large noses and a tendency to cross their arms. The human had an odd-looking sword at his belt, a kind of curved razor blade. The Villager wore green robes, and had a quiver of arrows across his back. He was holding a bow. The human could limp without help, so when the Villager spotted Steve, he drew out a bow and aimed it straight at him.
"Who are you? Are you from another village?" Steve dropped his sword and held his hands up.
"I'm from the village down the road," he replied. "We got attacked too. I'm alone as far as I know." The Villager lowered his bow. "I'm Tim," he called back. "Steve," replied Steve. The human said, "I'm James. Good to meet you." Steve picked up his sword and walked towards them. "Do any of you have a map?"
The three of them continued down the path, looking at a map they had taken from the town. "Look, we could go to the desert, there's some kind of fortress there." They instantly decided to go there, considering that it was the closest place around. Suddenly, an arrow flew down the path and hit the dirt where Tim would've stepped. He answered with an arrow of his own, but nothing seemed to happen. Then, six undead came into view on the path. It was an ambush.

I´m just gonna give this up for now and let it close, I´ll repost it when I have a less packed schedule, so I suggest you unwatch this. It will continue when I have time, but this thread is done as I have far too much work to do.
