Marked's Files Of Obscure Locations

Hi, I am Marked, and today I will take you to some of Wynn's more obscure locations.

Note: most location names are unofficial. Commentary goes above the relevant picture, not below.

Bonfire Cove

Deep within a cave connected to the ocean lies a big fire, providing light and warmth for whoever's staying the night here.



The tent looks very comfy and presumably uses the ship's sails, considering they have the same color pattern.




A fish net is featured. You could probably survive out here for a long time, even when the stacks of supplies run out.



The ship. There's a lot of supplies scattered around, and still a lot in the ship. It might have been placed to repair the lower part of the hull.



Left mast is missing a piece. Maybe it was used for the tent?



Whoever was eating here isn't very picky, even animal heads are put in the fire!



There's a tree farm here! No idea what for though.
EDIT: Headset_O said that the jungle tree saplings were supposed to look like some small plant, but they grew instead.



I have no idea who owned the ship, and why there's a bonfire, tent and tree farm in such a remote location. Maybe a supply ship had a shipwreck and the crew decided to make this place comfy while repairing the ship? Maybe some people wanted to live as hermits, filled a boat with supplies and went here to farm and fish? Maybe pirates use this as a base of operations, with the ship either being theirs or captured?

Retired Buccaneer's Sandcastle

Continuing my travel across the ocean border, I found a very interesting landmark!



Both a boat merchant and the retired buccaneer can be found here. The retired buccaneer's story is not known, but he has probably experienced a lot considering his high level.



The retired buccaneer likes watermelon and sleeping under the stars.



The sandcastle isn't that comfy however.



Coconut Crustaceans can be found in this area.



A pufferfish can be found in a mini sandcastle. There's a path leading to the sandcastle from the ocean. Maybe hop on a boat and give the retired buccaneer a visit?

Laughing Donkey Inn

One of my favourite locations in Wynn, because of its charming name and cozy interior. The beds in the item frames used to say 'Laughing Donkey Inn' when you looked at them but they don't seem to do so anymore :S

But trust me when I say this is the official name for it.



I'd say the front looks prettier.



The inn is actually quite small, but very cozy :D



Food and drinks can be ordered here. Wish there was an Innkeeper NPC here selling health/hunger potions or just making random commentary. Take notes, staff team.



Room 1, only room on the first floor.



You get a nice ground level view of zombies and skeletons roaming outside of the inn. Yay.



Small storage cabinet under the stairs. Just a non-loot chest there. No skulls or blood unfortunately :S



Second floor. Lots of books to read.




Room 2.



Room 3 has a suspicious amount of cacti.




Room 4 is not recommended for people who move around in their sleep. You have been warned.



The Laughing Donkey Inn has space for 9 guests at a time, and enough drinks for hundreds of people :D

Myself I enjoyed looking through the pictures and descriptions without the need of being there

 

I actually wanted to make the saplings look like some sort of small plant, didn't work out :I Stupid tree growth...

Nope, I just thought it was a good place for tents and some random stuff.

 

Do I see some... DEFAULT TREES!? o.O

Added some miscellaneous stuff I found.

 

It was very interesting to see these odd locations, I hope you add more to this as you discover more hidden locations!

Well, just like with Mular5's files it's about analyzing locations and theorizing about them, cause they're pretty easy to find. I don't claim any of these are nice finds cause they're not really finds U:

It sorta looks like a Cocoa farm, nice damp location, near water. Secluded so no one can steal the business

 

I would say the Cannibal mob fits right in here, you can find him on in a cave on the massive stone arch infront of the Dernal manor, it involves a bit of climbing but here's a pic:

I'd also like to add a little location that I found interesting on this list. It seems to be an abandoned Treasury, as you have to cross a bridge over lava and a pedestal, as well as 2 piles of emeralds and gold are present.I think it may be used for future reference for a later quest, or it may just be a neat Loot Chest location due to there being a tier II loot chest. I may be jumping to conclusions, but I think it's possible that something lies beneath that portion of green clay on the wall, and it has been sealed off. It's located in the Dernel Jungle.
