Let's Theorize About Gavel

I thought it was interesting how Grian mentioned there won't be any ruins in Gavel, unlike Wynn, which is filled with it.

Now that means that Gavel doesn't have a large-scale threat of any kind like Wynn does with the corruption (it does make me wonder what kind of monsters we will fight) and it might even mean that Gavel hasn't existed long enough for anything to be abandoned long enough to be worn down by the elements. Maybe villagers have inhabited another province before Gavel (fate of previous province unknown, but it's probably not good), and are now moving to Wynn because Gavel might suffer the same fate as the previous province the villagers come from.

Or maybe I'm stupid :S

 

Gavel doesn't have corruption, it has magic.

 

There are threats. Although not with the same effect as in Wynn

 

"There is no corruption in gavel, but the enemies there are more mythical in origin"

 

What are the implications of that? Even without corruption structures can still become ruins by the elements.

 

not if they are reinforced by magic. all ruins in wynn got destroyed by the undead corrupt hoard.
for example ancient nemract is younger than ragni or troms but it's already broken.

 

Yes, but any province with a long history should have ruins... there will always be remote villages that people eventually abandon.

 

Ok, so this is just a theory and speculation, BUT:

I think there will be villagers.

Is there something wrong with theorizing? It beats 'HYPE HYPE HYPE WHEN IS GAVEL COMING OUT HYPE' by miles.

 

When is the Actually update going to come out? I'm already hyped.

 

I should come out atleast before the end of the year.
