Ok..., this happened to me awhile ago, I had this short dream in a state where I was kinda awake and mostly asleep, I was reading some creepypasta on my Ipad (IN THE DREAM) and when I finished the story, I saw this yellow ad and stared at it for 2 seconds, then suddenly, I woke up and my vision kept on blacking out and I couldn't move or speak (sleep paralysis?) and I was able to wake up again, my breathing felt weird the time when I waked up.

Yes, it's probably sleep paralysis. But because of my paranoia, I suggest you find out more to worry yourself! Yay! (Don't do that if you don't want to.)
Had that kind of thing happen to me before. I almost panicked, but then I remembered this documentary on it, and I wuz liek, "Welp. What now?"

I had that twice. One of them was happening during an earthquake.

Probably sleep paralysis, but from my knowledge you normally hallucinate during sleep paralysis and by hallucinate I mean see horrendous nightmare creatures from the hell-scape.

I suppose that is normal, OP. Semi-asleep states and sleep paralyzes suck. Sometimes I have sleep paralyzes in a position in which I cannot breath... those are the worst.

Not always, but it is common indeed.

Congrats, only about 1/3 people will ever experience that. Welcome to the club.

I have to deal with that about every week but it's unlikely you will ever experience that again. It's a bi product of being in a half awake half asleep state.

Yeah, try not to do that again as its said sleep paralysis has a chance of making you fall into a coma.

Did you feel like as if you were being strangled during the stage where you could not move? Thats typically another trait of sleep paralysis.

Well, if anything there is a method to snap out of the paralysis. During this time, your body is asleep whereas your conscience is aware. Try blinking more frequently and breathing more intensively, this tends to wake your body out of the paralysis.

I actually managed to experience sleep paralysis out of my own curiosity, and I can tell you that it is not pleasant. I did hallucinate a white figure standing above my bed, I could not move and I felt like I was being strangled. I closed my eyes and started breathing intensively however I did not try the blinking trick because I was scared that ill open my eyes to an image of some creepy ghost face inches away from mine. Then I died.

Jokes but serioisly, its pretty cool. I wouldnt do it again though because it takes a long time and I fall asleep pretty easily =]
