After-gavel Suggestions

Post some suggestions that would be great to have after Gavel is released, so somebody can end up making an official thread about one of those posts. But really, what would you want to have after Gavel is completed, which I'm sure is "soon."




P.S. No idea whether this goes here or in the suggestion area since technically this post isn't a suggestion.

 

My suggestion is that the staff just take a break. Like for the next few updates just add some minor stuff like small new areas, a couple new quests, you know, small stuff like that. Because with how amazing Gavel will be it would be a crime not to let all the staff take a small little vacation.

Except for the mods, you guys still need to make ModSquad vids

And yes, I did just play the "Nice and supportive player" card. DEAL WITH IT!

 

i think they should try to make the servers not as laggy and add some more

At least change the lobby parkour- You can do the whole thing without breaking your stride if your mouse is responsive enough.

I think they should add Dern.

 

These things in this order:
1. Short rest
2. Server Lag
3. Lobby Revamp
4. Long rest
Because while they really need a rest, the server is so laggy. Still, a short rest would be needed. After the lag is fixed, the lobby also needs a revamp: It needs... something else to it. Like some really challenging parkour (sure, this parkour is hard, but it doesn't have things like fences or ladders. At least, not a lot of it if any of it.). I would also like to see a lobby which actually relates to the game itself, like having a 'sea' with a boat, a corrupted area, a mini city and more. Then a few easter eggs would be nice (sure, there are a few easter eggs... but I would like to see some easter eggs like the ones in Wynn itself.). Then the staff really need a really long rest after this, because they really deserve it. And after that? Well, I don't like to think this far ahead, but Dern.

 

i actaully think it would be better to get the server lag fixed asap, because lets be honest how do you expect people to play gavel when every server is crashing every like 2 minutes,
and about the rest thing, not need, just take things slower, they worked far too much on that update but theres no need to do 0 things for like 5 mounths now.

 

I did say "they could update couple little things" :P

 

Well, I didn't mean like 5 months... I meant like 2 weeks at max, probably less. Then taking things easier afterwards.

 

My suggestion is to make areas like Wynnter. 15 lvls of content, a bit of exploration, 10ish quests and 1 new thing, Dev-wise.
These are my favorite updates, because people don't get bored with the lack of updates.

Also, Devs might need rests, But GMs and Builders will keep on going, even the day after Gavel is released :)

 

GMs can keep doing stuffz if they want to, but builders have been building the entire time! It would be insane not to give them a break.

Not like we consider it work, the Build server has an amazing community as you can imagine, and being around people who can build good is nice :P
