Gavel.. No More Teasers?

Okay, I'm not trying to convince the GMs or the Builders or the Mods or the admins or anything to release it more, just a question, are we now not getting teasers?

Since the latest teaser about the video and the new item system, nothing had been out. I'm hoping for a good reason. I miss looking at the newest Gavel Teaser and getting me hyped. I'm patient so I can wait but its just that Wynncraft is so silent now.. The first I ever joined, there was 40 worlds all talking about Gavel and Dern, filled with 40-50 people each world, all lag 10% to 30% with always new quests to do. But now, if I join, there are 8-12 worlds with 12-40 people, with no new quest, lag 0-10%. No one chats. Can you please put another Gavel teaser? Or even release it? (j/k) I don't mean to offend anyone here.

 

Gavel is (hopefully) right around the corner, so there really isn't any reason for more teasers.

 

They said they have a small area of Gavel left, so hopefully it will be out soon. Also, Grian already said that if they revealed any more it would be major Spoilers

 

Have they run out of little things to show?
Gavel is the big stuff.

Hmmm... Wich is released first Gavel is just arounf the corner maybe 2-4 weeks and minecraft 1.9 is said to come in 2-4 weeks :D
Not that it matters i am not updating to 1.9 right when it comes out because there is so many new things like shields and dual wielding that servers aren't gonna update immidietly

 

Let the server update to 1.8 first, before even thinking about 1.9.

Besides, even if the server were already in 1.8, it would take a while to update everything to 1.9 :p

 

Honestly..
Teasers take time.
Time is better spent actually making Gavel.
Less Teasers is earlier Gavel.

 

As nobody's ever said before, too many teasers spoil the province.

 

Imagine if you got a teaser every week, sounds great right? well eventually you will be so hyped for the update that it will not live up to the hype. The hype has been building for gavel almost a year now, as they edge closer to the release i can understand why they aren't releasing any more, to calm the hype slightly.
PS. gavel should be out by Dec.21st

 

Yeah I didn't mean to say that they should hurry about 1.9 i just tought wich will come first... and btw Wynn is already fully 1.8 you can't log in with version 1.7.10 (or that is what i have heard) I know it would take while just thinking will Mojang release 1.9 before Wynn staff releases Gavel or will Gavel be out before Mojang releases 1.9... sorry if someone understand that I meant will Wynn update to 1.9 before Gavel because it was not my point :D

 

What? I thought that teasers were the only time that all of the builders actually got on the build server at the same time??

 

It rarely happens that all of the builders are online at thesame time, but there are at least 10 people online working at any given moment.

And no, Builders dont really have any input in Teasers, unless the teaser is a timelapse.

Minecraft 1.9 wont come in 2-4 weeks, they usually work on the content for half a year, and they don't release it until half a year has passed to correct bugs and shit (So more or less 1 year since first snapshot). So I don't expect them to release minecraft 1.9 now...

 

I believe the reason they've stopped releasing teasers is because they want people to gain hype from what they have released, but not release so many people can piece together too many of the features. Imagine your parents keep hinting at what your getting on your birthday, if they hint at it too much you'll figure out what they've got you and you won't be as surprised.

The large part of gavel has been finished, they're just polishing things up and making sure the paintings aren't crooked. Be patient, it'll be released soon enough.

They've actually reached the point where they've started to work out the bugs and fix the features. Before now, they were adding new features almost every snapshot, but now they've started to fix the features (Shulker now has damage sounds, Craftable End Crystals to spawn the dragon etc.) and iron out any old and new bugs. This means that we probably won't see any new features (New items and such may be added in relation to another part), or very few. I'm expecting 1.9 to release sometime in January or February 2016, if they keep the progression up.

The first 1.9 snapshot no way, no how, came out more than a year ago.

 

According to the Wiki, the first 1.9 Snapshot, 15w31a, came out on July 29, 2015. Approx. 3 Months and 8 Days from the time of posting. The latest Snapshot, 15w45a came out on November 5th, 3 Days since the time of posting.
