Media No Escape

Recently, someone messaged me to help them get out of the sewer trap. I went inside, pushed the button, entered the exit hall, and BAM! I was the one stuck. I did some poking around on where the exit used to lead to, and came to a conclusion. These are the screenshots:
This is the entrance.

This is what the inside is. It looks really dark, but you can see the blue (water) and no light, meaning no exit.
This shows where the exit is supposed to be. As you see, there are no exits.

This is the house where the exit is supposed to lead to. It looks as if it has been altered.

This is the inside of the house. As you can see, there is a hole containing water, where the exit from the sewer trap should be.

I believe when the house was altered, someone covered up the exit. What do you guys think?

 

God damnit. I think I need to call a plumber. There are humans getting stuck in my pipes.

No, I can't find a hidden button INSIDE the supposed exit.

Also, I already escaped. and went in there several times and did /kill several times to take screenshots and investigate.

 

It used to be that a few months ago, if you fell down the trap in the Potion Merchant's house, you would be sent down a sewer trap. There would be a passage for escape at the far end, and you could access it by clicking a button and opening a hidden door.

It's no longer there, which is what Rick is pointing out in this thread. You never needed /kill for this area until the Ragni Siege Update (citation needed) occurred. This is not an "I'm stuck" thread, nor a complaint, but a change he has witnessed and wanted to address.

A mini-update that destroyed part of Ragni's fort walls. I meant Ragni, not Detlas Xd

 

I will go have a look if this is intentional and if not, so that I can fix a little escape once again.

I have now checked the build server for this place, and it seems like there already is an exit set in place. It must have been someone who accidentally removed it just before 1.13 or 1.12 was released, and then added it back soon after the release.
