Render I Need Help With Chunky.

I have rendered this picture at 17,000 SSP and it took 3h 50m. I know I might have to render it a little longer but any other tips on how to make it less grainy? Could it be a problem with the emitters?

 

Em. Can you tell me what program you have used for this one? (although it's obvious for me but I want to make sure) and the rendering engine if possible

 

Just get C4D. You'll find enough tutorials for that. And if not I could help you ;)

EDIT: DUDE WTF. Not even my photorealistic stuff takes ~4h to render. What have you done to your render settings and scene.

 

I think it's the PC. Worse computers render slower.

Was about asking you the same. What are yours? (Just the processor matters because that's what is used to render)

You can try using the program Blender. My signature has a link to a portfolio where you can see examples of the capabilities that Blender holds when it comes to Minecraft. Good luck!

Chunky's method of rendering is very CPU-intensive and slow; think raytracing but with about 10k samples. It's why I stopped using Chunky in the first place.

 

If you want a decent alternative to Chunky, you could try Mineways (which is free). It was designed for 3D printing but it also lets you convert Minecraft worlds into .obj files, which can then be imported into Blender. The main problems with Mineways are that you need to do the lighting and background by hand, and that it doesn't render entities.

 

Well you can adjust the sample count manually in Cinema 4D

Lol, Last year I got sent a free version through my school, 'Student Version', Aka Free C4D for like 2 years.
That was at thesame time you were posting a ton, and that's what got me into Rendering..
My autobiography aside, I indeed didn't pay for it either.
