Why I'm Not Hyped For Gavel Anymore..

Everyone loves Wynn right? But Gavel? this is a different thing. when Grian, Jumla, and Peppered announced Gavel, everyone was so excited about them, and I was too, they said its coming out at August, at least planned for it. And I swear this really happened to me when I asked Jumla:

[Jumla->Me] Probably not

And they are 83% finished on that time, now they are 86% finished. Loads of teaser's been out for too long. I'm afraid kids might actually waste their whole child hood just waiting for it. They say they are working hard, and 2 months ago, they were on 83%, now only 3% progressed, still saying working hard. Now thats when I get suspicious. I do not think they have been on their best, or it might just be only 60% last week and now its 80%. I worked hard to reach lvl 40 on my weak archer class just to lvl up higher from there to Gavel so I can explore while grind. But now I'm 51, probably give me 0 xp when I kill mobs there... When the teaser came out I was so excited that its finally almost been done, until the end of the video when they said "Coming this Fall". What so wrong about that you ask? LAST SUMMER THEY SAID "COMING THIS SUMMER!!". I expect the next trailer would be "coming this winter, then spring, then finally, the release date" - actually, nah think it would be shorter, but still. I hope they are all working on their real best shots, and lots of people would help on the 3D item modelling. Thanks for reading!

Honestly, why are people so rude? Do you not understand how long the builders work on Wynn? They work all day long on Gavel, and might I remind you that they have lifes too! They can't work 24/7 on it because they have jobs, school, family, stuff outside of Wynn! and on top of Gavel they have to maintain Wynn which in and of itself is a huge undertaking! I really hope you learn your manners and actually realize how hard the whole Wynncraft staff works for YOU'R and everyone's enjoyment.

Grow up, the only reason they even said any release dates is because you people have no patience, so you pressured them into it.
You've seen the work they're doing, 133% more land, new item system, 50 more quests.
If you only knew the time and effort it takes to do any of that, you would appreciate it way more.
But you don't know the work it takes.
If you just stay quiet and let them work in peace, this would all be better.

 

If we were 83% done back then, we're like 115% done now. 'But why isn't Gavel out yet then?' Well. We're doing more than was originally anticipated, lots more, and that 115 is out of like 130, instead of 83 out of 100. A lot of stuff is there, that we just can't spoil, without leaking it all, and we rather not spoil anything about those, if that is the case.

Also, you shouldn't grind at thesame location when level 51 than when you were level 40, Move on to an area with mobs around the 53ish area for better XP gain.

Also, we're working harder than you realise.. There are always at least 3 online working (24/7) and on daytime usually up to 20 people working. I have, over my time as a builder, worked there for over a 500 hours, for free, for you guys. And not to mention the admins who have undoubtedly worked twice as much the last year.

 

Most of the time when you hear "Gavel is x% done" it should be taken with a grain of salt. Gavel's a bit too big to calculate an exact percentage. I think the best estimate right now for progress is "we're pretty close"

 

I've made a thread like this one a while ago, The content team is working really hard and you are level 51 so you got a lot more things to do, I messed up all of my characters and I got 2 level 75 characters, I've been waiting for Gruble for over 3 months now without having anything to do on Wynn, I feel like I am going to waste my childhood waiting for it, Dern is something that only my child's childerns would see.

This content was too big,and Wynncraft is losing people each day.
Remember when we had like 2k or 3k people online?
Well,It's like 600 now.
Gavel shouldn't be this big because when it is released a lot of people already left,and the hype was already over.
Sorry Wynncraft Team,but you are setting your goals too high.

 

What I honestly Hate about people like you guys, is that you hate and rant and say how "Gavel is taking to long" "Gavel isn't worth it". I have honestly been waiting until the build team is like "Thats it! we quit"and stop making Gavel and then the REST OF US who are ACTUALLY HYPED for Gavel can't enjoy it. I really hope that you guys either relize the error of your ways or keep your opinions to yourself so that you DON'T RUIN IT for EVRYONE ELSE

 

But think of everyone returning to explore just beyond that door!

 

And that's why "soon™" is always a better answer to give than "in a few X" or "next Y".

What you must remember is that Wynn itself took over a year to make and that is back in the basic super laggy bad map kind of sketchy coded Wynn. Gavel is something that is much much much bigger than Wynn and a huge game changer. The fact that it this far in development after this long is actually quite amazing! Gavel is going to change everything and anyone that is complaining every single day about it not being out has to remember that it's a province, it is something that is so much more than Wynn, hell from the trailers alone you should be able to deduce how much effort and how much change is going into this! So honestly, stop complaining about it not being out, it is being worked on. When the day comes when no one is doing anything, you can complain. But until that day, just wait until it is done.

 

Well sure you can have Gavel out now, but you wont have the resource pack, it would be very buggy, they would need a whitelist, and most of quests wont work, so have a thought on that @RyanDA10

Ryan's Reducible Rant has been answered more than enough times; "I wants Gavel!" "It's not ready". Enough complaining has gone on, and enough explanations have been made. I agree with you, @Red-Eyed Knight , this thread needs to be closed, please.
