    Teaser no.13 seems to have a lot of similar features to 1.9.
    I mean health stat on equipment?
    Different attack speed on different weapons?

    I never understood how 1.7 people could get on, there are multiple locations with 1.8 blocks

    I mean, it's certainly possible, but highly unlikely. Not to mention if they did make it 1.9, it would likely mean at least another 3-4 additional months wait time. However, They will likely make it so that 1.9 clients can connect even though the server will be 1.8 (just like how it currently is where 1.8 clients can connect even though the server is still 1.7)

    Those are glitched Voxel sniper blocks. Most of them aren't meant to be there :P
    Voxel sniper got messed up when the Build server became joinable by both 1.7 and 1.8 people.

    Wynncraft has armour skins which only works on 1.8, if you use 1.7 you cannot see them. This means Wynncraft is at some point 1.8

    I did think that at first, but most likely not. The 1.9 snapshots are still buggy and glitchy and are not worth attempting coding in.

    That means it's a 1.7 server with advanced features.
    Gavel is a new province the content team has been working on.
    It will have 40+ quests.
    The explore able landmass will be bigger by 133%.
    They will raise the level cap to 100.
    New item system.
    New skill points system.

    Well, it is a 1.8 server with 1.7 support.
    It uses 1.8 features, like armor skins, but for the sake of 1.7 users doesn't use 1.8 blocks so they can join...

    I think it's the other way around. It would make more sense if future versions will be compatible with past versions.

    Actually when I think about it your explanation makes total sense.
