???/The Hidden Village and Theory E RECOVERED Data File Part 1
    Recovered on September 2014
    WARNING: POSSIBLY DISTURBING CONTENT AHEAD

    2014-09-27_14.53.09.png
Location: The Desert of Almuj at x 1456, z -2021
    Use: Unknown
Made From: Sandstone, sand, dirt, wood
Inhabitants: Dry Zombies, Sand Crawlers, Scarabs
Now this place is interesting for a few reasons.
1, it does not exist, or is mentioned on the Wynncraft wiki at all.
2, it is one of the few abandoned villages in the game.
3, it has NO official name, not even on the forums!
Due to that last bit, i have decided to name it The Hidden Village, since it blends in with the desert at a distance.
This area seemed to be a save haven, a hiding spot of sorts from the corruption, but it seems that it fell regardless.
It is painfully clear that most of the population did not survive, as you will see shortly.
    2014-09-27_14.53.32.png
This first picture is of the main plaza of the village.
A small water source runs through it, allowing water to the people here.
The central column was probably used to keep the ceiling up, as well as provide light during the long nights.
I will go clockwise around the village, discussing each of the 8 houses, and showing what remains of this ruined village.
    2014-09-28_10.04.22.png
    The First House

The first house seemed to have had a villager with a friend over, before they seemed to have been separated and killed.
This first house may have been a place where ores were processed and made into tools, like a blacksmith or something similar.
Now, the only thing living in this house is a small plant.
    2014-09-28_10.11.02.png
    The Second House

This house seems to have been owned by a organizer of sorts, seeing the exact same placement form for the furnaces and bookshelves.
There is no bed in this house, so the people here may have been visiting, or ran the shop together.
However, this is also the location where the most brutal death seems to have taken place, due to the amount of blood on the floor.
It is likely that the owner/visitor of this house was dragged and beaten along the floor, before expiring...
    2014-09-28_10.19.00.png
    2014-09-28_10.23.35.png
    The Third House

This house is one of only 2 houses where a body/head is not present, meaning the owner of this house may have survived.
This house also overseers most of the village, meaning it might have been owned by the leader of the village.
The second floor of this house may have been his living quarters, which seem to have been damaged over time.
    2014-09-28_10.26.50.png
    Supply Unit

This area seems too small to be a house, so i believe it may have been a supply unit for storage.
However, i am unsure of what the two people in here may have been doing.
They may have just been making conversation.
However, it seems that one of them was not so lucky, as he may have been burned alive, seeing his location on the furnaces and the blood spilled on the sand.
    2014-09-28_11.45.07.png
    2014-09-28_11.45.20.png
    The Fourth House

This house is easily the most damaged, seeing as the entire second floor has collapsed.
This is also a house where the person was alone when he died.
Seeing his location, it is clear the second floor didn't crush him.
However, i am unable to tell if he was killed by corrupted, or by asphyxiation from lack of oxygen due to the sand.
In terms of his possible job, he seems to have been a repairman for tools and the like.
    2014-09-28_11.55.43.png
    The Fifth House

This house seems to have been owned by someone who loved books, perhaps a teacher or archivist.
It seems that at least 1 of the people here were trying to defend their possessions from the corrupted, but failed.
It is also possible that this was the owner of all the potted plants in the village, given to them as a gift.

Ironically, someone asked me that the first time i posted this!
I shall give the same response.
I do not believe the bandits would be this cruel.
Also, what would they have to gain?

while it is true that they might not be this brutal, maybe the residence disagreed with them being in the barracks? or maybe the residents use to use the barracks but were thrown out by the bandits, or maybe the bandits needed supplies so they raided the village? but I do agree with you'r first point

The bandits are not in the barracks, that would be the revolution that Amerigo has you deal with, which was added after this data file was made.
Also, these homes don't show any serious amounts of supplies, or places to keep them.
Finally, those barracks were military, i doubt civilians would be allowed to leave in such a place.
    Good points however.
