Do I Get Banned If I Make A Ban Appeal For A Friend?

Hi! My name is kae_mae and I am quite curious if I may make a ban appeal for a friend. I read the ban appeal form an admin I think and it says that if you make a "fake" ban appeal you will be banned yourself. My friend is having issues logging into the wynncraft forms and I would like to eventualy post a ban appeal for him. Would it be possible?

 

You probably will. Tell your friend to make a ban appeal for themselves with their own account as it is quite risky.

 

Yes. I understand that it is risky, but he cant log in! >.< He loves the server and I would hate to have it taken away from him!

 

Ban appeals are made on the forum, so he doesn't need to log in on the server.

 

I believe she is trying to say that her friend can not log onto the Wynncraft forums to make his ban appeal.

 

Maybe create an account for him on the forums and invite him over for him to write the appeal?

 

To my understanding, the "fake" ban appeals rule means that if you are NOT banned, and submit a ban appeal anyway (and waste the moderators' time), you'll be banned. I'm not sure if there are any rules relating to writing a REAL ban appeal, but for someone else. Maybe one of the mods (I summon thee, @Souplaire ) can help you out/clarify this?

 

Is the friend in question banned in-game, and if so, what are their exact problems when logging in?

 

You can't make ALT accounts without permission from a staff.

I belive my friend was banned in-game. He found a thread about how to make a proper ban appeal which had a link that led to the ban appeal threads. He has it figured out now, but yesterday, when clicking on the link, it logged him out and he was unable to log back in. Im not sure what the direct issue is, but I hope that this was helpful! ^-^
