So I know there is a rule against shitposting, but I'm just wondering, what counts as shitposting?

basically anything that makes no sense

 

I guess it is like...threads or comments without any meaning.
That is what I think of it as at least.

 

Examples:

K (10chars)
No (10chars)
[Random Meme](10chars)
(10chars)
Lenny (10chars)

Basically anything less than 10chars or just unnecessary.

 

Basically, shitposting means bringing negativity and useless answers posts into a thread, even threats and insults that can't be found as satirical and are directed with hate. Really weird that it isn't mentioned since every forum tends to have their own type of shitposters/shittopics, but by general perspective, that is what shitposting is.

 

Basically, the VIP-Forums.

 

So making a seemingly pointless thread that people think is funny does not count as shitposting?

One is to shitpost, one is to shitthread. Most of the times, shitthreads don't even exist as long as they're in the forums section they need to belong to.

 

Posts that make no sense like the post about "U NEED TOO BE 40 YRS OLD TO ENTR GARBLE" that was posted a while ago.
