Gavel Texture Pack.

yea, talking about builds, just believe me if I say this a lot of us were big sceptics when the first version came out but it doesnt change too much, doesnt look that much differant from vanilla

 

There will be a texturepack, though idk if it will override anything.

There will be people that will love the resource pack and there will be people that don't, we literally just got confirmation from a builder that for those people that might not like it there will be no option more than just the usual ''you'll get used to it'' (same thing that happened with armor skins), let's keep in mind that not all of us like the way wynncraft looks with the default rp (even if it just have been modified a ''little'') , that's the main reason why some people make and use different textures to make it look better, and with this dick move they are literally telling every single one of this people to just fuck off, if they only had just done weapon textures and the new gui it would have been all better.....

 

While I like the RP, it will make me sad that people will hate the Gavel update just because of a resource pack, I know its just opinions and the fact that people hate change and stuff, but I hope they'll clear some stuff and answer some non-spoiler questions about it soon™

 

it's not that people will hate the whole update but just the fact that it is obligatory to use an ugly texturepack to play it

I will most likely dedicate my gaming time solely to my console since we have to use the new texture pack. :/
I respect that things will look a lot better with it, but when the idea to be able to play and choose the texture pack is taken down away, all that is left is...
1) To play, you must use the texture pack.
Pretty much is a no for me.

 

Uh, it doesn't, but as you may have seen on the stream, wooden planks are textured as a variant of spear. Playing on default or other texture packs will prove to be a bit strange, running around smashing things over the head with blocks of wood.

 

Is it possible to edit the server-resource pack, so we can just replace certain things? I'd still like to keep some of my textures in there, as well as the new models.

 

(I haven't watched the stream)

In practice though, it is pretty effective.
