    Optifine is allowed, just like shaders and minimaps without the mob/player radar.

    Don't worry, Optifine doesn't offer an ingame advantage, it just boosts performance, so it's Opti-fine to use.

    Zoom in Optifine is practically useless for aim since it makes your screen do the cinematic scrolling thing, and also because arrows don't shoot straight.

    I know the arrow is effected by gravity, but it still helps you. You just zoom and aim a little higher. It really helps, and some servers ban optifine because of that.

    No the problem is if you aim high enough to hit then your target is off-screen. I've tried this in Singleplayer before, it's practically useless.
