Gavel Resource Pack

Will the pack be optional? Or will it be mandatory? Cuz I'd like to continue using pureBDcraft.

 

Well multiple items will need the resource
pack in order to see some quality items in the game such as rings and weapons. Since it is a 3D texture pack I would recommend giving it a
shot. So if you want to be able to have the
textures fit most of the items and weapons
and other things too. You should use it.

I believe that it will allow you to put that recourse pack on top of an existing especially if u download it from the forums and not just straight from the game but from what I know it is possible but there is no way to play without this resource pack

 

resource packs lag me so i turn them off

 

The server will always ask you if you want it. You can just click the "no" button to disable it!

 

Click on the server on the server list.
You should see an option of : server resource pack.
You can disable it by clicking disable, and enable it again, by changing it back to enabled.

 

The resource pack will be mandatory, and will therefore be forced onto your client.
As far as we can tell, you can not change it during your time on the server.

 

According to official sources, the official resource pack will in fact be 100% mandatory. (as much of a middle finger that is to fan-made packs... rip legends awakening 2015-gavel)
So if you're that one guy who doesn't like low-resolution packs or 3D models, prepare to be assimilated.

 

I can't play with the resource pack so I'm waiting for a download link or something so I can load it before I get onto wynn ;-;
