Media Let's Have A Gavel Handbook

With Gavel just around the corner we are getting lots of info on it. I have come up with the idea to create a kind of guide to Gavel and it's wonders. What I am thinking of is getting some players to help me in getting content and creating ideas for the book. I already have the information for most of the leaked stuff ready.

I am recruiting players who will want to help me get any information that I have missed so far. I also want to recruit a team of players with Skype who would like to help me gather as much information as possible in the first month of Gavel. I look forward to anyone willing to help.

Ahh! But wouldn't it be good to have as much info before to limit the time it takes. I was thinking of updating this thread before Gavel's release so that I could get a team of players that would help me document their Gavel sightings!

 

I will help once gavel is out as I am going to play the hell of of it.

I must admit you have amazing analogies. Here is my response:
Why not sketch what you can see to create a template that you can refine once the door has opened?
Setting a foundation is the key to success as doing something all in one go can make things seem rushed?

 

your first sentance was fine, if there waas a long time to wait wait for Gavel. at the start there were aa lot of people who gathered all the clues and built aassumptions.
as to your second sentance isnt gathering all the clues and making a guide just before Gavel comes out seems a bit rushed?

I had to leave soon so I did not get enough time to space everything out properly but you should get the jist of the layout

Not to be mean, but like kollden said, the gavel threads are starting to get annoying.

Well I would be generaly more easier and more useful if you posted this with all the info when Gavel acutally comes out.

 

The wiki to me is not a book. The wiki lacks the creativity that a book has. A wiki would say:
Gavel is a new province that has introduced many unique things
While a book with more magical and fantastical meaning would say:
Gavel is a magical province, filled with things rather different from the corrupted province of Wynn. Gavel has introduced the human race to new places beyond imagination such as the realm of light and the city of Llevigar

My other projects are either just polls and questions or they ask for something for the people to help me create something. The projects I have right no are the Comic and the Handbook.

This is more of a prototype thread if you would call it that. It is helping me gather and share information so that I can see public opinions. Once I am finshed I will post and official thread. This thread will contain all the new things in Gavel and will be updated periodically. Once I am finished I want to post my work to the Wynncraft staff and see what they think of it. Even if that does not happen I am creating a google doc that you guys will be able to access where you can print it off and have your own piece of Gavel!
