No Rules Stating You Can't Have More Than 2 Accounts

Title says it all. The 9/7 crash have wiped many rules, including the no more than 2 account rule. To moderators viewing this, can a person make multiple accounts?

 

On the forums? If yes I guess it's still not allowed. Not sure though!

 

Someone I know In-game took advantage of this and got banned. He's saying their is no text stating this no-longer existent rule, so there was no reason he should be banned... Just trying to help the guy.

 

The fact that the rule isn't on the forums anymore doesn't mean it doesn't apply, right? If you know of the rule, you shouldn't disregard it.

 

If the rules have been wiped, that doesn't mean that it isn't allowed anymore. Then again, idk.

 

I guess, but maybe the admins changed this rule? It would be nice to have multiple accounts.

alt forums accounts are not allowed, even if you have multiple mc accounts active on the server.
this is how the rule went.

 

Although I completely understand the rule saying you cannot have multiple accounts, new and innocent users could get confused seeing that the rule is not printed and do it, thinking it's allowed. They would think that they get punished for no reason, and that wouldn't be very fair to them, now would it?

 

I am sure that we still need to remember the rules that we had before so that we can re-add them.
I've not been able to be around much so I'm not 100% sure about everything that has gone on, but I can say that if you knew of a previous rule and obviously know about the post wipes then you shouldn't even need to ask if something is suddenly allowed when you know that it isn't.

More than one forum account is not allowed unless given permission to do so.
